Default TS / Fire Nova / Hex questions + General Advice.

Alright... so I got so many ideas running through my head about the above three spells.

My current oh shit macro is the 4x thunderstorm, use 13/14, em, -- target focus/target FS, LB, CL.

I was wondering if you guys think i should sequence the thunderstorms or roll with 4 going off at once + the trinket / blowup setup.
I really cant decide, Im leaning towards sequencing just to get people off me more since i get pwnt. This will however require me to change some keybindings which I guess I should do anyways lol.
I also though about going on like a shift mod of my macro, doing 4 trinkets / TS all over.

Fire nova's-- How do you employ them?? I was thinking maybe I could do ts/nova.

Is anyone hexing at all? I saw the /targetenemy stuff, not sure if thast how i want to implement it. I also saw some sort of command for um
"arenaN" Opposing arena member with index N (1,2,3,4,5). so not sure if I could do /target arena1 and that would work?
**** UPDATE**** /target arena1,2,3,4,5 will select the respective targets... so you could do
    /target arena1
    /target arena2
    /target arena3
/target arena4 and hex 4 different people if you were facing proper directions, so maybe there could be something like /cast [target=focus,exists][target=arena1,exists][] Hex

Im just throwing my thoughts out there, right now im thinking to move to a cast sequence TS on one key. Another combine trinkets + x4 TS. And make a single DPS macro that ques blows everything at once then fs/lb.

Im only at a 1250 rating, and I pretty damn consistently im fighting teams that are in full furious. I would say over half my losses are to this crap. So i just need to get some fresh thoughts.

I'm not doing competitive arena yet, so I'm just theory at this point. My experience is a bit of BG's but mostly PvE stuff.

I personally use a macro for Thunderstorm, Fire Nova and Fire Elemental that looks something like this:

    #show Thunderstorm
    /use [mod] 13
    /use [mod] 14
    /cast [mod] Thunderstorm
    /castsequence [nomod] ,,Thunderstorm,

Also have Earthbind and Earth Elementals on rotation, but don't go with anything to drop them all at once like the above spells.

For the most part, Thunderstorm (Knock Back), Earth Bind (Root/Snare) and Fire Nova (Stun) are control options for me, but I do have the option to burst with them...

I found that if I sequence the thunderstorms one by one it becomes easier to get people off, but it does not by me time because I'm watching the melee on
e running at me and trying to time it right and not dpsing/getting sidtracted from killing the guy I really need to kill and leetting the non melee just dps the poot out of me.... But maybe if u want to use it more spread out to inturupt thins or keep healers out of the way.. But really it depends on how u like it or what kind of Playing style you have

    Im considering doing Character=

/use [mod] Titan-forged Rune of Audacity
    /castsequence [mod] Thunderstorm
1: /castsequence [nomod] Thunderstorm,, Fire Nova Totem, Earthbind Totem
2: /castsequence [nomod] Earthbind Totem, Thunderstorm,, fire nova totem
3: /castsequence [nomod] Fire Nova Totem, Earthbind Totem, Thunderstorm,
4: /castsequence [nomod] ,Fire Nova Totem, Earthbind Totem, Thunderstorm,

Yeah I don't know... I like to keep it simple There is so much stuff going on that its like omfg what to do!!! to me lol. But I could see myself benefiting from the sequence, the problem is people are usualy back ontop of me real fast so I thought maybe putting some fire nova totems in that would help.

The sequence with Thunderstorm, Earthbind and Fire Nova can work fairly decently.

However, if you use any of the abilities outside of the sequences then they start to fail. For example, if Thunderstorm is on cooldown for #1, then you get Nothing + Earthbind + Fire Nova + Null. Now the sequences are out of whack.

You can include a reset in the sequences, either reset=mod:alt or something like that, or I usually find the longest recast spell (in this case Thunderstorm is 45 seconds) so go with something like:

/castsequence [nomod] reset=45 Thunderstorm,, Fire Nova, Earthbind Totem

At least this way, 45 seconds after you've used it, they reset to the default order.

It is still spammable if you want.
And it gives them a push back, snare (short duration root) and AoE (with short stun) to deal with.

I use that same macro, I thought it would be godly but it doesn't seem to really stop anyone. All the melee bof/sprint/intercept/death grip back, stun doesn't really accomplish much, etc. You could do it 4 times in a row but you're using a GCD every time and just delaying the inevitable rather than killing anything.
