I think your thinking of entering too many instances within an hour. I believe this is when too many people are doing instances... I may be wrong but I just went back to try again and was getting the same thing.

I know this message all too well and it annoys me to pieces.

Instances run on a different server cluster and each instance takes up a slot.
Too many open instances do cause lag, therefore Blizz has limited the number of available slots.

They're actually in the process of upgrading their hardware to allow more slots but I guess this won't happen very soon.

This problem has been going on for quite a while but especially on my server (EU) it is causing me major distress (15-20min wait time to finally getting the instance loaded).

These days quite a few people are doing low-lvl instance runs which all take up a slot. Neverthless this problem has been an issue since Wotlk release at least on the server I play on but these days it is really bad.

It wouldn't be so bad if there was some sort of queue but the only way getting the instance loaded is by portal-hoping.

it's amazing how there's this is a constant problem, but yet, when i finally decide to queue up for a battleground while leveling, I can never seem to get in due to no one else playing. The only level brackets I've noticed this is not a problem with is the 10-19, 60-69, and 70-80s. Even on BG holiday weekends, I still have a hard time getting in to play WsG or AB on my pally team. Hope it won't be this bad once I can get into AV. I still need to pop their PvP cherries Just ganked someone in Booty Bay this morning, but didn't get HK credit cause he was 10 lvls lower than my team. That's what he got for running in the inn flagged Will post my SS later

I get this damn message all the time, its so annoying, i stopped running zg for that reason, don't even do any heroics because of that, its such a bullshit. Makes me mad just thinking about it.
Its not a problem on realms that are part of lesser populated battlegroups, but try one of the original realm bgs and be ready to go emo over not being able to zone in anywhere.

Yea, I might transfer to a PvP server later down the road, but I found it took me too damn long to lvl up do to all the lvl 80s ganking everyone in the starting areas. I almost quit playin due to that till I found out about the different playstyles on each server. That's when I started over. Not like I had alot to lose really. Never made it out of my teens when I made the switch. And as far as the Instance problem, I run into that alot too when I'm tryin to grind my slaves thru the Stocks.

No need to bother with that any more, now that you can xfer from PVE to PVP.
