The solution here is to fire off a low damage spell before blasting the warrior with a full nuke. Rank 1 LB would do the trick. Mages do this often to absorb a grounding totem or spell reflect. If Blizz won't fix the problem, work around it.
Um... thanks but I realize this. Im not blindly firing away into an existing AMZ, I've blown the EM cooldown+flameshock, waited the .5sec for gcd, and already sending off the LvBs when the AMZ goes up. Happens very often in the zerg of arena and theres no way to reliably avoid it.
OK then. Since it seems the bug is with all LvBs hitting at the same time, stagger your cast macros to leave a half second between the master's cast and the slaves' casts. I assume you may have already tried this, but in the interest of discussion I'm throwing it out there.
The whole point is for them to all hit at the same time. For my purposes this isn't viable. Also - there is no "down ranking" spells anymore.
