If I'm not mistaken, wasn't last year's dinner the night before Blizzcon? The costume contest is one of those must see events.

No way would I miss the costume event, was one of my most favorite parts of the show, was very entertaining.

If i wanted to watch stuff on the internet, I would have saved a lot of money and stayed home and did the direct TV thing. The costume contest and the dancing is fun to watch "live". Watching stuff on your PC does not replace that "live crowd energy". There has to be a better time. I have no prob staying up a bit later if we did the dinner after events.

Thursday is out as a number of people will not be in town yet
Saturday night is out due to VLG and the sheer amount of people trying to get dinner reservations around Disney land in August is damn near impossible. (Concert during Blizzcon2 didn't get out until almost 10pm)
While some might be fine with getting to a restaurant around 10pm and eating around 11pm isn't cool for others.

Lunch during a large event usually has issues of its own such as having a set start and end time. Theres a lot of events that do go on during the day such as the panels, events and tournaments along with game demos running, dinner is just easier in that respect seeing we can take our time.

Its a toss up as to what you want to get done/see while at Blizzcon, personally I would rather get to meet fellow dual-boxers and other players for some food and drinks.

So the deal is this, if you cant make it because you want to stay and watch "Dancing with the Scourge" or "Thrall's Closet" please have fun at the event, we make poke fun at you during dinner however :whistling:

I'm sure there are going to be a number of late arrivals at dinner, if want to catch up with us later for drinks please post as well, but I need to get a firm number of people for dinner in order to make reservations.

If you are going to be coming to dinner please list order of preference or any other ideas, also if someone wanted to get a D-B Breakfast going on Sunday please feel free to organize one but start a different thread.

I'm looking at Joe's Crab shack, Buca Di Beppo and California Pizza Kitchen as the main choices for the venue.

Let's handle this in a situation where the time slot that fits best with everyone is the day/time we pick.

So below please put what time you Prefer to show up as, and then a secondary time slot.

I will go first.

Primary - Friday night 7 pm.
Secondary - Saturday night 7 pm.

I'll tally it up and then we can have a good idea of coming together the easiest.
