Vegas & MP3 Encoder?

Ok I was having serious problems getting an mp3 encoder setup for Vegas... I traditionally use LAME to encode my MP3's and I've used iTunes to convert to MP3 so I knew the encoder was there, but Vegas wouldn't admit it...

Found that page, it is a reg hack to tell your computer about the MP3 encoder included in Windows Media Player 11...

Question on stage 6, is it normal for videos to take an eternity to publish? I've had one publishing for over an hour now...

I've only published 2 videos, but they were both instant.

Publishing normally goes quite fast, its the uploading that takes forever imo. Still it works so wmeh .

Also, tip, get the divc converter so you get a.divx file (avi encoded divx also works, but most of the time you need to buffer which is slow, and the filesize is a bit larger the the .divx variant)

Ah I see now, there is a bug in their site they say wont be fixed til the new year, if it hangs on phase 1 or 3 just delete and try again... joy.
