No and not planned as far as I am aware. Oceanic players have been screaming for this for ages and politely ignored for ages.

There aren't likely to be Australian servers anytime soon. Speculation is that Blizz looked into setting up servers with Telstra, but Telstra wanted too much money.
So it looks like we'll be on crappy pings for a while to come.

in the test realm patch notes it reads
"Reduced network latency by disabling the Nagle algorithm."

I recently came across a post which shows how to disable nagle algorithm system wide (usually you do it per TCP socket).
    http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...sid=1&pageNo=4

it reduced my ping by about 100-150 ms

this is quite lol but its Blizzard so what can you expect?? 9.3 million people play WoW, and one patch and several years down the track and they discover this!!

yupyup i use the internode trick with freecap works for me, along with the tcpack patch for both my vista machines and xp machines .

But there is the smallest possibility of an australian server now that activision is in the mix, they have some big offices in AUS.

Holy Mary Jesus and Josef...this is great. Just goes to show, if you are on a massive US backbone getting <100ms ping you really don't care about the little guy.

    Lukey:

I play on Barthilas, an Oceanic PvP Server with a massive amount of World PvP, in the BG9 Cluster and another multiboxer is on the server called Astrid.

I know another multiboxer plays on Aman'Thul which is PvE Oceanic.

Few others Aussies play on Magtheridon, but depending on your playtime dunno if people will be around at our normal peak times.

    Just letting you know.

I play on Blackrock, same group with all the other Oceanic server. Ganking goes on 24/7, very active economy, and of course Blizzard resets the server every few hours I get 20ms ping on other servers, but my best on this server is 200ms. Don't wanna know what aussies get
