So horde get two towns in STV, and alliance get a camp? Ya, that makes sense.

Hehe, I didnt say it makes sense.. In point of fact I was saying that more so for how unlikely it seems they would want to throw a wrench into things. To counter this sarcastic point however, all of the zeplins are goblin run like the gnome tram thingy. So who knows. Doesnt make sense to me to take a race so entrenched in neutrality and make them Not.

All of this was 100% speculation based off of mask textures in any case so I never really expected it to happen.. Does anyone honestly think Blizzard is going to give us a new race in an intermittent patch update instead of an expansion? hehe

Im a skeptic and a cynic. That leads me to playing the game as it is right now and not caring much about what will be. While I have not had the joy of doing the vehicle missions as of yet (I generally stay one expansion behind in levels) I have not yet been disappointed by WoW over the years. New race? Fine. Halloween Masks? Fine. Either way its a win for me as there will be more The biggest problem I will have with a new race is if a class I have would be better as that race and would I want to restart it... Or pay to transfer it to the alliance side and then back to the horde to get the race change, hehe.. Who knows! Right now, since I am pretty much broke in game all the time, I just want cheaper mounts!

i could see the worgen being a shapeshifting class. they seem losely related to werewolves and even in grizzly hills they appear as humans that change into worgen. *shrug* would make them fit into the alliance side more if that was the case.

i do like the idea of a third faction that they all fall under. would be interesting. 3-way pvp? hmmm....

I'm going to remain skeptical - no offense to Pwnster and your contacts. If you had a verifiable track record from your sources, I'd be more willing to go with what you say, but I've been hearing "my freind at Blizzard told me" since the game was released. The raid guild I was in during vanilla had someone who had a friend who worked at Blizzard, who regaled us all with all the cool stuff coming in the expansion...which all turned out to be wrong. Turns out, the guys friend at Blizzard was telling him fake stuff to keep him off his back.

If it turns out to be true, cool. I don't really care either way. I don't have much interest in playing either Goblins or Worgen, but it'll be interesting to see how they do it.

If it turns out to not be true, cool. Let's see what Blizzard has up their sleeves.

Blizzard has been saying a lot lately, through official posts, blue comments, interviews, and everything else. They're dropping hints relentlessly. It's fun. Speculate away, nobody gets hurt, but don't get your hopes up too high.

It may be that they're just halloween masks. I don't know. I would love it if they really started playing with people's minds and seeded masks from Diablo III and Starcraft II characters and mobs- and let people argue and fight over what they mean for 6 months, all the while slipping the real stuff in quietly while everyone is raging over Halloween masks.

I like the idea of a werewolf race. I probably won't have the courage to level a new race from scratch, though, but they could do funny auction house characters.

So they could only be druids? hehe. Wuold seem to be a bit limiting.. Would be kewl if that was their 'travel form' instead of a mount though... But again, I am with Gadzooks, it doesnt matter and we will see when we see

I have a feeling that the best response that blizz will get is to have the new races start out neutral, at lvl 55 or higher, with a questline similar to the DK line, and at the end u choose your faction, get some decent blues, and head to outland (or northrend if they raise the lvl cap)



Or the only other way I see it is a whole revamp of the old continents, making them phased zones, and lowbies see it as it is now, and once you complete a questline, you can no longer see the old way, but the new "fixed" world, with higher lvl content, and new dungeons/raids
