Best thing about Affliction is that if you work it right, everything in a trash pack will die simultaneously, even without AOE. It's most amusing (but perhaps I should get out more).

I've been leaning on the felguards more often lately without a good reason for it ... but usually I'll run instances with two locks specced Afflic, and one specced Demo/Ruin. They share a Corruption/Curse macro, then the Demo locks casts Immolate while the other two are casting UA, and finally the Demo lock spams Shadowbolt while the others do Haunt/drain. This gives me an improved imp and felhunter for +sta/+int buffs, and the felguard gives +spell on crit and the occasional stun. The configuration changes for different situations ... like, I always run three felguards against Loken, whom I want to burst down as quickly as possible before the priest's mana pool is exhausted. I prefer doing Slaves to Saronite as three Afflic locks for running + dotting, but it's not really necessary, just better, and I'm not going to bother changing spec just for a daily.

Since the Midsummer event reminded me of it, I've been PvPing a bit more, and wish I could triple-spec for Destro, to get Chaos Bolt. Someday ...
