Thread: Hunter + Druid

    Default Hunter + Druid

Can't find any good setups Ive been looking for 3 days; Druid/Hunter... I usually run the hunter as slave, the druid is feral atm, I had it balanced that worked out some what, but the hunter would still have some problems, if the druid or hunter got aggro instead of pet mob would be too close for him to shoot. So I'm wondering if there is some kind of macro I can make to stop the hunter from following my druid, right him im using Set focus - Druid, Assist focus, Follow focus and Attack target macros and I have most of the hunters skill set to attack focus target. I have major issues the hunter almost always follows my feral druid into melee. Is there a command to stop the hunter or some way I could set up a button to smoothly stop my hunter from following druid into melee that would be great, thanks.

Just set an alternate movement button on your slave, such as the arrow keys. Personally, I mapped Home to be my follow key and used End as strafe left on 1 toon, strafe right on another, step backwards on a thrid and forward on my main. Set them in the default keybindings section in game.

Yeah thanks man that was actually crossing my mind as I posted this that the arrow keys would cancel movement all I have to do is rebind.... Hopefully I can get it running smoothly :_

Just hit the back/down arrow to break follow. Run in with bear and grab aggro then shoot/petattack. If they get too close to hunter, hunter starts melee anyway which is a bad thing
