Default should these be sufficient upgrades to 5box

i just started 5 boxing up from 3box and wasnt very sure how my pc would handle it.. running with all wows at lowest settings its been fine so far.. it performs all right while questing/instance running, but i know it's going to fail horribly in cities, dalaran especially.. im leveling leveling some chars and i havent even been to a city outside of thunderbluff, which handled fine, but im sure even orgrimmar is gonna kill my pc..

    my current system:
amd athlon x2 4200+ (dual core)
    2gb kingston ddr2 pc 800 i think
    geforce 9600 video card

im looking at getting a AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2GHz with along with an asus mobo and 8gb (4x2gb) of g.skill ddr3 pc 1333 ram for just under $500..

cost is a factor so i dont want to spend much more than that.. i just wanna make sure that this should be able to run 5 wows respectably before i go ahead and make the purchase..

You'll need a 64-bit OS to take advantage of any RAM beyond 4GB.
Depending on the number of monitors you use and the resolutions you run WoW in, your video card may become an issue.
And you will also want to be certain to update the Processor Affinity of your WoW copies to take advantage of the four cores.

Aside from that, looks very similar to the setup that I 5-box with.

Make sure you can use DDR3 on the MB. Also get the correct voltage, as the I7 DDR3 is not the same as the older DDR3 (1.65 vs 1.8/1.9 V) Most cases it will not help enough to justify the added cost.
RAF Tour Guide files are obsolete, I went to Zygor
