Quick post on how I'm speccing up my Pallies and some of the macros I use. There is also a very good thread here - [How-to] 5x Paladins Disscusion

Currently I'm running 5 x Ret, but I'll probably spec one protection when I hit lvl 60 - as thats when I'll have access to greater blessings.

Basic DPS Macro:

#showtooltip Judgement of Wisdom
/assist focus
/startattack
/stopcasting
/castrandom Judgement of Wisdom, Judgement of Wisdom, Judgement of Wisdom, Hammer of Wrath, Crusader Strike, Cleanse
/follow focus


I'm using a focus based system, so you can easily adjust the macro for FTL. The beaty of this macro is that it will cast whatever is not on cooldown if you spam it. You can add in Divine Storm, Exorcism and Consecration too if you want...although I keep Exorcism (since it doesnt affact pvp targets) and Consecration (only use it on multiple mob pulls) on separate buttons atm.

For PvP i simply add in Flash of Light, so it will instant cast it when Art of War is up (a must have talent IMO).

Other things to note - I have cleanse and hand of freedom target the next person in the party, since you can't cast it on yourself if you are CC'd.
