Default Dual boxing caster and melee

So, I'm fairly new to the concept of multiboxing, and I just recently decided to give it a shot, I've got clonekey set up, and everything seems fine, with one exception.

I was planning on leveling a priest/pally combo, and I seem to run into a little snag whenever I try to get the pally to attack something, he usually ends up out of range, or facing the wrong direction and being generally useless, is there a solution to this problem, or am I stuck having to move into a 10 yard range and having the pally pull with judgement?

EDIT: forgot I was using clonekey instead of autohotkey

    1. Bind a key to "interact with target" on the Pally.
    2. In WoW's Mouse options, enable "click to move"
    3. Press the bound key whenever he's out of range.

Or just drive the pally, which to be honest makes the most sense in any case.

edit: of course the first option will only work if you're using a target-based system.

That's what I'd do, definitely. So much easier.

QFT - from experience. I just leveled (non-RAF) a pally + priest to 60 and this was how I did it. Especially when you get higher level and are doing massive pulls of 10-20 or more mobs, you need to be constantly moving on the pally to make sure all the mobs are in front of you so you can block/dodge/parry.

Casters... and I suppose hunters who maintain range, are very easy to play.

All they need is facing and to be within a certain range.
    Healing doesn't even require facing.

If your team is melee plus a caster, stop the caster a little ways before the target.
Have the melee go the rest of the way.

If you run multiple melee, use the Click to Move + Interact with target options.
