Default programmable mouse button does not pass to any window when using maximiser

    Hi KC,

I'm having a strange problem with programmable mouse keys, first up here's my system specs:
    Windows 7 RC 7100
    8g RAM
    Q9550
    Keyclone
    xkeys pro
logitech g5 mouse tried a ms one as well
keyclone and intellipoint etc are run as admin with xp sp3 compatibility for keyclone

If I fire up 5 sessions manually and then fire up keyclone there's no issue, the programmable mouse keys work fine. The keys are the ones on the LHS of the mouse and I have them mapped to 1 and 2. This works on the G5 and the MS mouse I bought the other day.

If keyclone fires up the sessions and uses maximiser screens the programmable mouse keys don't pass. Wierd. Any ideas? It's not a game breaker or anything as I use xkeys for pretty much everything, it would just be nice to have those mouse buttons for other stuff like maybe mounts or NPC interaction.

BTW: I'm really impressed with the work you did on the mouse clone stuff, simply amazing - makes me want to get my mages out of retirement for some coordinated blizzard action

I've found for my mouse... Logitech G5...

I went in and set the thumb buttons to a keystroke.
    Something like Alt+Ctrl+Underscore and Alt+Ctrl+Backspace.

Within warcraft, it would occasionally stop understanding the button press.
Warcraft always recognizes the key combination.
It's quite unlikely I'll accidently send either of those key combinations.

    Could try that..

I've always gotten this to work by running the logitech setpoint software as Administrator instead of just running it normally.

    You will either need to:
    1) kill the existing copy and rerun it as admin when you need to box.
    2) setup a timed startup event to run it as admin a tiny bit after startup.
    3) set the program properties to always run as admin and then search through your taskbar warnings after you boot up and manually give permission for it to run, since auto-running startup folder programs as admin doesn't work.
