ZF Boosting with Mount Nerfed?

This may or may not have been discussed, but I wanted to make a note of it here since I saw another recent post with somone listing instances for boosting that included ZF.

It's been about 8 months since I boosted any lowbies. The other day I took some level 40's to ZF for some quick XP. The first pull I got dismounted in the 2nd clearing after the first long corridor. I thought it odd as I've rarely been dismounted (frogged on the horse yes). So I killed the guys I aggro'd and tried again. I ended up being dismounted 5 pulls in a row. So basically, it took me 6 pulls to do what I normally do in 1 pull.

I figure this to be too much of a cooincidence. Has anyone experienced the same with ZF lately?

P.S. I am aggroing with a 76 pally on a mount with crusader aura.

I believe it's been mentioned in other posts.

One of the mobs shots now dismounts you. It sucks.

I can only suggest staying in SM till 45 then head to Strat. XP drops off after 40 in there but I found it easier to stick to SM,
rather than go to ZF and come all the way back for stratholme.

The other poster was using his druid in bear/travel form to round up mobs. No dismounting there. It's been this way a while now in ZF. Alot of people have stated they sometimes use ST to break the monotony that is SM after lvl 40.

Yeah, ST isn't too bad for 35-45. You'll get about 33% of a level every run, stays consistent as the mob xp continues to go up as your toons level.

If you're a skinner, you can loot/skin on one run and then do 4 runs w/o looting and stay just under the reset lockout. I guess if you're not a skinner you'd have to loot 2/5 runs to avoid hitting the lockout.
