This is a radar time lapse of FedEx and all 700 planes in a typical 25 hour period. Every dot is a FedEx plane, no other plane except FedEx is on this radar map. Notice where the FedEx HQ is located on the map.

Most of you probably dont care and again others will find it cool. I found it cool since I work at the HQ. Every night the sky is filled with planes, the landing lights can be seen from miles around with planes in single file approach to the huge airport. Memphis becomes the busiest airport in the world at night, in terms of frieght. When the planes get ready for take-off they are all nose to tail wrapped around the airport. When the one in front is cleared for take-off and gets 1/3 down the runway the next plane is cleared to take-off. The internal workings of FedEx is amazing. At night the ramp at memphis becomes an ant farm with 16,000 employees coming in to sort the packages from plane to plane.
