Who decides that the work day is from 9 to 5 instead of 11 to 4? Who decides that the hemlines will be below the knee this year, and short again next year? Who draws up the borders, controls the currency, handles all the decisions that happen transparently around us?

I'm with them. Same group, different department.

I love summer. Short skirts and shorts everywhere on women
Not to mention all the scenery at the beaches...

Just because I'm married and older than most of the scenery by a fair chunk doesn't mean I can't look...

Sewing machines. I repair 'em. Family biz, been doing it since I was 11, and I'm 35 now. I actually make a proverbial killing since I'm commission only, so if I'm not lurking d-b or WoW forums, I can make up to $150 in an hour.

Interesting. I've personally never owned a sewing machine, neither has my wife. Her mom bought us one a couple years back that's still in the box. It's that busy a trade is it?

You'd be surprised. We have some computerized embroidery machines that go up to $10k, and that's a household machine. Commercial multihead embroidery machines go for 5 times that. It's a pretty big market with the 'crafty' women and such, with quilting and embroidery clubs and the like.
