Last time I checked (and I asked a GM, in-game, around Christmas time), non-participation was against the rules and "actionable" (sic).

Is it "ok" now to just not go in when the arena pops up?
I assume it is seeing as they put the point loss system in place (is it still in place?) though working on assumptions is a very BAD idea might pay for someone to check with CSF.

I think its fine (this is just my opinion) I myself don't play arena for arena itself I play to get gear so I can competitively PvP throughout azeroth. Why should I be forced to do something I don't like in order to do something I do like? There's also the fact that I'm always going to be one or two seasons behind everyone else in gear and I won't ever have PvP weapons. I dunno just some thoughts/ramblings of mine.
