    Default Dual Boxing Shaman Macros.

Hey guys I have been dual-boxing off and on for awhile, but I started a Shaman Duo last night.

I have searched the forums, but I seem to always find stuff about 3,4,5 or 5 boxing shamans but never 2.

So here are my macro Questions.

    1. Whats a Good healing Macro for my duo.
I'd like one where with a normal Click my alt heals my main.
Shift-Click(or some modifier) Heals my alt with my main.
Alt+Click Heals Main with Both alt and main
THen is there another Modifier where both Heal my alt?

    2. What is a mana effective cast-sequence for leveling up 2 Shamans. I right now pretty much spam Lightning Bolt. They are only level 20 so please no upper level spells..

    3. What Totems if any should I use while leveling? I really don't use many right now. Occasionally on a tougher foe, but that is it.

Well I hope someone can answer this for me.
    Thanks in Advance

There's not a whole lot of difference between two and five, as far as macro's go.

You could macro this with two similar macro's on the same keybind for each toon:

    Main's Macro
    #show
    /cast [mod:shift, target=Alt'sName] Lesser Healing Wave; [mod:alt, target=Main'sName] Lesser Healing Wave; [mod:ctrl, target=Alt'sName] Lesser Healing Wave

    Slave's Macro
    #show
/cast [nomod: shift, target=Main'sName] Lesser Healing Wave; [nomod: shift, mod:ctrl, target=Alt'sName] Lesser Healing Wave

Note, the main's macro will not heal anyone at all with a normal press, only if you press the macro in combination with a modifier key. The Slave's macro will heal the main with a normal press, Alt press will have them both heal the Main (slave doesn't need to have a condition of "[mod:alt, target=Main'sName] Lesser Healer Wave", because they're already healing the main on anything other then a shift-click.

As desired you can combine, mod and nomod into macro's, in whatever combination you like.

Note, you said "Click" and I have said "Press". Basically if you mouse-click on say your heal macro, it will not be broadcast to your slave. If you press the macro with a keyboard press, your software (or hardware) will broadcast to the other client.

    #show
    /assist "Method of Choice"
    /cast Lightning Bolt

    #show
    /assist "Method of Choice"
    /cast Chain Lightning

This is easiest and simplest. You'd probably want to also have:
Flame Shock (highest total damage shock)
Earth Shock (largest single damage shock)
    Frost Shock (snare effect)
Wind Shock (low damage, spell interrupt)

You can do a castsequence for Wind Shock.

    Shammy 1:
    #show
    /castsequence reset=x Wind Shock,

    Shammy 2:
    #show
    /castsequence reset=x ,Wind Shock

Set the X to be the recast delay on Wind Shock.
The first press is Wind Shock #1. If you need another interrupt before it refreshes (the X number of seconds passes) then a second press is another Wind Shock but from the second shammy.

    Create a totem stomp macro.
It is a castsequence. Use one entry for each totem you have access to.

I think its something like Earth (10), Fire (20), Water (30), Air (40).
So at 20th, you'd have Earth and Fire.
Adjust the sequence for most important totems dropped first.

    I like to use:

Fire: Totem of Wrath, Frost Resistance Totem, Searing Totem
Water: Mana Spring Totem, Healing Stream Totem, Cleansing Totem, Fire Resistance Totem
Air: Grounding Totem, Wrath of Air Totem, Nature Resistance Totem
Earth: Tremor Totem, Stoneskin Totem, Earthbind Totem, Stoneclaw Totem

Pick an Earth and a Fire totem for each shammy for now.
Down the road when you have a lot, prioritize: Tremor and Mana.

    #show
/castsequence Tremor Totem, Healing Stream Totem, Grounding Totem, Searing Totem

    #show
/castsequence Totem of Wrath, Mana Spring Totem, Grounding Totem, Stoneskin Totem

Thanks for the help very informative.

Also I don't click spells i press. I guess it's habit to say click.

So are you saying have a separate button for each shock?

The healing macro is acting very strange for me. I'm using a mac. I dunno if that effects anything
The Alt will heal the main on an alt and no modifier. And will not heal himself
the main will heal himself with a alt modifier. Thats the only way he heals is with the alt modifier

This sounds like I typed the alts name in wrong kind of, but I just cannot make it work!

Within warcraft, there's a section in the interface.

I think you can enable that any spell clicked/pressed with Alt targets yourself.
But pressing it without Alt and it acts normally.

If you want to use Alt conditionals in your macro's you'd want to be sure this is disabled.
Let your conditionals determine the target, rather then Alt always targeting the caster.

If that's not it, I'm not really sure.

With two toons, you could easily have one as the defacto healer.
Two macro's. Macro 1 is for Toon 1, and Macro 2 is for Toon 2.
A normal press is only Toon 2 casting, while a (pick a mod...or just use /cast [mod, target=]... has both toons heal.

If you're playing shammies and nothing else..
Frost Shock is your snare (along with Earthbind Totem) for keeping range.
Earth Shock is your biggest single instant cast.
Flame Shock is your most damage from a single shock over time (highest damage per cast shock).
    Wind Shock is your interrupt.

There will be situations where you want one or the other.
There aren't really all that many keys you'll use with just the one class.

Lightning, Chain Lightning, Flame Shock, Lava Burst... for DPS
Earth Shock, Frost Shock, Wind Shock... situational use.
Totem stomp, all drop or sequential drop: Groundings, Healing Stream, Fire Nova, Earth Bind, Fire Elemental.
Purge, Heroism, Elemental Mastery, Hex, Totemic Recall.

Your most used keys will be on the keybinds easiest to access.
A lot of these you don't get until 70th, 75th or 80th anyway.
Easy to adapt your system over time, as you get new tools or your needs change.
