I just started taking interest in dual boxing chars, after hours of raiding non stop hardcore style, feeling all burnout now. Anyway, I have already 8 lvl 80 chars, but done it all old school way. So my next project is, try dual boxing. I have read most of the guides, installed KC, addons etc. There are a few problems that I tried looking into the forums about it, I am still unsure abt it, so I decided I do open a thread. All help really be appreciated!

Here goes:

1. I use Jamba addon, I want to know how do I make the slave loot the target? Do I need to bind a key to mouseover interact target?

2. There is a slight delay in /assist focus each time I cast a spell etc. ie: I target a wolf and start casting spell, but the slave doesn't pick up the target, meaning I have to press my button twice before it starts to cast. Is this some sort of a delay in KC? or something else?

3. Again Jamba addon, where do I make the slave auto complete the same quest as the main is? And how do I make the slave accept any quest that I share ( I see the option in Jamba addon, but its not picking up the quest even tho I shared it to the slave.) Something wrong?

4. Macros, is playing melee classes together easier than mixing them both together, ie: paladin/warlock or mage/mage

I hope someone can give me a real insight of what I am doing wrong here.. Thanks in advance!

the easiest way to use jamba w/ keyclone would be to do 2 things:

1. create an /assist macro
2. set the wow keybind for 'interact with target'

this way, you can click on the body ... hit assist... your alts will get the target... then hit the key all your wows have bound to interact-with-target. you will need to spam it a few times as only one wow can loot at a time.

this is also very useful for vendors. target vendor, assist, and interact. that will pop up the vendor for all your wows (i also have mine set to auto-junk greys)

The delay in the assist is cause its the WoW servers who have to update what your focus is when you pick a new target. The assist really isnt the problem... as long as I am reading that right.

Even though you have auto-complete or whatever on in Jamba you still have to make sure the quest giver is active for the slaves. Then it will replicate your actions on your master to your slaves. Note that what Keyclone says below about the looting and vendors will also work for quest givers.

As for classes, general concept is that the more variance you have in your group's classes the more complicated things can become. If you are looking for something easy to multibox the general suggestion is to make 5 Shamans and go from there. If you are looking to do all melee characters there are a few posts in the forums ya can search for that contain some helpful pointers for getting everyone into melee range.
