Default New and cannot figure out what is wrong with my keyclone, i have checked everywhere

Hello everyone. I am new to the sight and happened upon it while looking for a solution to my keyclone problem. I have checked on this sight as well and cannot seem to find it. Anyway here is the problem

I am duel-boxing on a laptop, well, trying to at least. I do have vista if that matters. I have set up my keyclone (v 1.8 ) and the maximizer. Everything seems to be going fine expect for the fact that both the big WoW(my main) and the little one end up opening in the center of my screen. I would like my big one on the left and the little one (same height) on the right side of that on the other side of the screen. I can not seem to figure out how to make them not both open in the center of the screen. Any help would be a great help.

While we are on the subject of this, is there any way to have both of these full screen. I mean my "big" WoW through key clone does not cover a huge area and do not know how to make it expand, i have tried some stuff with that as well but do not understand it. Well anyway, the first question is why i came here the second is a bonus!

Any help would be wonderfull. Thank you in advance.

Make sure you have maximizer set up the way you want it, and (if it's not) have Keyclone running as an administrator.

Is Keyclone loading your instances of wow? If so then it's the maximizer settings that determine the size of the regions and what resolution those regions are rendered at. Make sure that the commands loading the different instances of WoW are putting them in the right regions. What I just found out today is that you need to make the WoW settings be windowed, Keyclone does not seem to pass the windowed flag to the wow.exe. Also make sure your keyclone has the right permissions to save its settings or it wont accept any of your tweak changes and they will be gone next run... Thats all I can think of to check.

If you look at Step 5 of the Software Setup on this page you see it walk through setting up Maximizer as a large part of it.

thank you for the info....as far as i can tell i have the maximizer set up how i would like it. How can i tell if keyclone is running as an administrator? If its not then how could i have it do so?

No, Keyclone will handle the sizes of the windows for you.

Like for my two-box I am using a PiP setup where my main window is the entire desktop 1920x1200, then I have a second region that is only 240x150 but renders at 1920x1200 as well, so I can swap between them with out too much of a change to my UI (I am not even sure why my alt has a slight change to it, wasnt worth figuring out since I am only 2 fires away from going back to 5boxing)

Ok, i do not mean to be to much of a bother but this may be where i am messing up. I may not be using the PiP correctly, not sure though. When you put in the 1920x1200 into the region is that the x,y or the w,h? I know that there are guides out there but i may have just confused myself, not sure lol. And also, wherever you put the region on the grid is that where its supposed to show up on the screen when it loads? Because that is where mine is not doing so.

I do agree that this can get a little confusing so I will try and explain it

For making a region just use the click and drag interface that Rob has given us. This is very very handy..

If you are going with dual boxing and want a nice PiP setup click the + to get a single region and then drag it to the top left corner then resize it to be the entire box. Click the + again to get a new window and I would recommend making it the smallest size possible (One grid) and then stick it off to the right a bit and about in the middle.. THis misses most of my layout. On this smaller window you will want to click Always On Top so you can always see it. you HAVE to hit the Apply button .. I have not found anything else that will save the Always On Top setting.

That should get you a simple PiP interface.

If you need more hands on help I invite ya to come annoy me in-game as I am in the middle of setting everything up from scratch for my Ashawk team... Ysondre [H] I am right in the noob tauren area right now, cant miss me

the latest alpha makes it even simpler with preset maximizer layouts. just update to v1.9g, and then install the alpha (it's an update) (link )
