I wouldn't say shoulder enchants are soon to be OP.

As it stands right now, comparing the bonus you get from not having a skill.
Versus the bonus you get from that skill...

Jewelcrafting gives the largest bonus, followed by blacksmithing.
Inscription shoulders vs hodir shoulders is ahead of enchanting rings vs no enchant.

In 3.2, with the introduction of epic gems, the dragon's eye gems are getting a boost.
Basically, they'll be as far over the other epic gems as say inscription shoulders will be over hodir enchants.
Jewelcrafting is still losing the prismatic quality on dragon's eye gems, they'll be one color each.

Sure, inscription shoulders are getting a substantial boost...
But, the difference between inscription and hodir will be the same as...
- Enchanting rings over non-enchanted rings.
- Dragon's Eye gems over epic gems.
- Inscription shoulders over Hodir shoulders.
- Blacksmith extra two sockets with epic gems over not having those two sockets.

Blizz is doing their best to balance each of the trade skill bonuses.
That's a big point in the 3.2 patch.
Inscription shoulders won't be OP in relation to any other trade skill.

Sure, they'll be stronger then they are now.
But then every trade skill will be stronger too.
Leatherworking bracer enchants over enchanter bracer enchants will gain just as much.

I'm sure they cannot balance everything perfectly.
Each class will get a slightly different boost in effectiveness, from the same enchant.
There will be some that are slightly better then others.
Blizz is attempting to make the choice from one to another, to be a minimal gain, unlike now.

I went with Inscription shoulders... because...
- as of now, they're the 3rd or 4th best bonus, so its not a bad choice.
- it was a lot faster/easier then grinding Hodir to exalted.
