    Last boss in Nexus was a nightmare with my hunters !

    Pets didn't move so they got killed. If I tried to make them move by recalling them and sending them back, the stupid dragon was slowly getting closer to my group. Awful. I think I didn't finish that instance before level 76-78. Going with Paladin+Shamans, that can all jump, felt so easy after that.

    I currently have 3 reasonably geared teams at 80 - Shams, Druids & DK's. I'm also levelling a Pally team (non-RAF, oh the pain...THE PAIN!).

    Quick summary on each:

    Shamans - best for PvP, but need to drop one for a tank to do heroics. Still my favourite team to play...will be even better in PvP with the next patch.
    Druids - The all-round team, good for pvp, good for heroics, but not greath at either. Lots of fun to play, but have a few drawbacks - having to shift to heal and vulnerble to AoE fear.
    Death Knights - good for pvp (esp with glyphed rune tap), can do some heroics, but lack of heals is a drawback.
    Paladins - shaping up as a solid choice for both pvp and pve. Complementary auras and blessings, heals and wipe prevention, and a range of stuns make them an attractive choice.

    Ya, I'm definitely leaning towards paladins next. Maybe mages after that, if I ever get to it.

    Paladins: I am looking for some Cons to this group please.

    I am worried about fear bombs and stuns to the main. BE get AT silence which I can see round robin helping. Just trying to understand any cons before I make the jump.

    Its always been my dream to roll a five healer team just to annoy the shit out of people. I have yet to do it though

    I'll have my 5 resto druid team in about 3 weeks once the new computer is delivered. After I get some gear I'll make a video of the druids running around in BGs. I'm guessing they'll be unkillable in BGs where attackers aren't coordinated. I'm also curious to see if they really run out of mana since every time a wild growth or rejuv ticks there is a 15% chance of restoring 1% mana... with having 5 wild growths and 5 rejuvs going most of the time I'm guessing it will last me quite awhile.

    Of course I'm also looking forward to seeing if I can wipe graveyards with 5 typhoons plus 5 starfalls. If not then I'll just bring out the 15 treants to clean up.

    since my main team of pally+4 ele is all geared out in t8, i have plenty of gold, and lots of time(14/14 ulduar we don't raid too much anymore) I decided to roll a new team while leveling another team...so now i have

    Team 1 - Pally/ 4 shamans

    Team 2 -Dk/2 mages/warlock/priest

    Team 3- 5 gnome warlocks.


    I have to say that 5 warlock team is most fun i had boxing, in fact i have so much fun with them i even considered stopping raiding and just playing them, its like i get home and i cant wait to play :P Like in the good old days when wow was still fresh, they're level 23 right now, and i was able to do stockades/deadmines at just lvl 18. I know that that team wont be able to do heroics, but seriously i don't even care, I cleared them all on my main team, and i can always swap 3 warlocks for 3 shamans, and make one shammy resto.

    TLRD ->warlocks<- get thumbs up!

    I'm leveling one of each at the moment (should be lvl 30 today). I have a pally tank, a hunter as my number 2 (backup tank, DPS and pet for off tank) and a warlock (DPS but with pet for 2nd off tank or even to drain tank, provides CC for certain types) and mage (DPS, CC, taxi (at lvl 40) and water supply). I have a priest healer although with my pally tank I mainly have the priest DPS, but if things go west and I switch to my hunter to tank, then the priest earns his keep.

    The "self buffs" are insane. Not sure how affective this combination is but it's amazing fun!

    I used to like my 4 druids for the flexibility (and 4x CC is amazing) but I really think you need some pets for off tank so when thing s get complicated you can at least put part of the fight on "auto pilot".

    My team mate Alex is running 2 pallies and 3 locks and is having a blast - literally!

    Ok I can really see that hunters team is just not viable for heroics ( and even level 80 regular dungeons). The damage to pets is starting to get insane. I tried AN and got the crap beat out of me. Oh well!

    Currently my alt team of paladins is 48. Their gear isnt up to snuff( <3 RAF) so they have a hard time in dungeons. I tried ZF and while I can do it, it was kinda slow. I keep them all ret and dont even bother equipping a shield to keep damage down. I sleep one target and then beat down whats left. It's pretty fast, but not as fast as a healer + tank setup. I think if they had level appropriate gear it would have been much much easier. Level 15-25 greens arent cutting it anymore, lol.
