Ok I can really see that hunters team is just not viable for heroics ( and even level 80 regular dungeons). The damage to pets is starting to get insane. I tried AN and got the crap beat out of me. Oh well!

Currently my alt team of paladins is 48. Their gear isnt up to snuff( <3 RAF) so they have a hard time in dungeons. I tried ZF and while I can do it, it was kinda slow. I keep them all ret and dont even bother equipping a shield to keep damage down. I sleep one target and then beat down whats left. It's pretty fast, but not as fast as a healer + tank setup. I think if they had level appropriate gear it would have been much much easier. Level 15-25 greens arent cutting it anymore, lol.
What level were you when you tried ZF? I cleared it very easily and quickly at 46 without any deaths. I have 5 paladins all retribution. You really gimp yourself when you use a 1h+shield because you do a lot more dmg with the 2h.

I could do those big 5mob pulls even, all I had to do was get aggro on individual paladins and just burn the mobs down. If it was a three pull I just ran into the group with my main and most of the time didn't even need to heal. At that level you can do constant consecrates, then just judge to get mana back thanks to that talent. I'd say these paladins are killing stuff just as fast as my hunter team did, if not faster.

I never stopped to upgrade gear and only used quest rewards, so I'd say most of my gear was mail with a few plate items. I got some good 2h weapon drops along the way so all their weapons were up to date.

I'm about to start a 5 shaman group after these paladins, and I'm wondering if they will even be able to keep up with the dmg output. Sure they may be able to CL a group of mobs and spam lightning bolt, but afterwards they'll have to drink. Whereas my paladins have a path of destruction with no stopping, ever.
