    Default Poor Quality in FRAPS

So I read through the sticky above and some related searches but I am not finding an answer to my problem. Last night I was recording some SM:Cath boosting runs on my lock using FRAPS. Well the quality is horrible. It is like watching a YouTube video before they added HQ. I haven’t even compressed it yet as I would think that would make the quality worse. I have fraps set at 60fps. Any ideads? What did I do wrong?

Well I figured out what is wrong. I have an old version of fraps and doesn't have the 60fps setting. I downloaded the trial version and works a lot better.

    Default

    First set fraps to 28fps

Then make sure it's setup to record full screen

    That should help a LOT.

I did have it at full screen. Pretty sure on the no sync=Disabled too. I thought there was an option in there for 60fps, but what ever it was I have it set to the highest. I will check again tonight.

I checked and it is 30fps and fullscreen is checked, not 60 like I originally though. I don't have an option for 60. No sync is not checked. Any other ideas? I will see if I can upload it.
