I have been working on this when I have not been playing.. For tonight it actually took up all of my play time and is not complete. The reason I am calling attention to it now is I have been on the forums for a couple of days now and it seems Every day someone asks 'How do I set it all up'. The page aims to be, and was inspired by, the Guide to the Guides page. I am just trying to actually put it all in one place in a logic that makes sense... even if it makes no sense in its current state
Well, if you go to this wiki page
http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/index.php/WOP
you will find my Multiboxing 101 page that I am working on.
Its crappy and very much so not complete. However, section 1.4 - A Software Setup, is what I spent tonight working on and I think it can give some people a push in the right direction. It will take you from absolutely nothing to configuring keyclone in a very basic manner, but enough to get you playing. A quick run through the steps is copying your WoW installation into new and separate folders, a list of mods I suggest getting and finally setting up Keyclone to the point of having it load up all of your clients for you on a single machine.
I hope to be adding more and I also want to have it include more information. When all is said and done I will be adding in screen shots and breaking it out into separate pages since it is getting kind of long with nothing but incomplete sections.
Hope this helps. I know just writting it all down has helped me figure out a few things to change in my setup already. Oh, and as I said, Ive only been at this since like, Friday... So if it seems short sited, its cause Ive only had a short site!
