What feature of keyclone are you looking to use when doing this? IS makes it pretty redundant. I have both but since I started using IS I haven't loaded up kc, so not much help here I'm afraid.Originally Posted by 'Xar',index.php?page=Thread&postID=212664#post2126 64
Are you running xfire by chance? It completely screws over wow instances running with IS for me now (doing what you describe), not sure when it stopped working - I don't usually load xfire but it worked fine a month ago.2) One or two of my 5 windows just lock up, the graphics and environment seem ok, I can see updates on my screen but I can't move nor change my camera angle, I can't input anything, etc. The lockup on that toon lasts for about 1-2 minutes then it's fine.
No help there, have never had this issue3) Chat from earlier is resent. Occasionally I get chat that I had typed 30 minutes previous be resent all by itself to one of my windows.
You should be able to find an error log in your wowdir/errors, without seeing the actual error it's hard to say, but I haven't had this issue with IS.4) A couple of times have gotten an error from wow that a protected part of wow has been attempted to be accessed or called. Unfortunately I did not get a SS of it but will next time so I do not have the exact error. This one alone scares the hell out of me as I've put a lot of time into my toons and do not want a ban for something I did not intend to do. I have never gotten these errors except when running IS.
I turn on/off my keymaps all the time with no adverse effects, although I do agree that the system that you have to use for this is a bit clumsy, once you figure out what you are doing it works out alright though. WTB actual pause button.5) No key "pause" built in like keyclone makes it harder up front to configure and I'm curious on the system impact of frequently loading and unloading keymaps via hotkey, could that be contributing to the freezeups and other problems? I get whispers all the time and chat in guild, etc.
