Default Key Clone and the Eve-Online Client.

I'm hoping somebody here may be able to assist me in setting up Keyclone to work with the Eve-online client.
I recently purchased Keyclone to use its maximize tool to organize multiple windowed clients on 1 PC.

Ive been trying to set up my machine which has 2 monitors (22' & 24') to run 3 clients.
The idea being to use the 22' screen as my main client window running at 1680x1050 with 2 other clients running on the 24' monitor at 960x1200 each side by side (Ie total 1920x1200).

So far Ive been able to get 2/3 the way there through using manual resolution settings to get the 960X1200 resolution forthe clients and then using evemover to strip the windows boarders and reposition 2 of the 3 clients, however that program does not have the facility to allow an x.y coordanite other than 0,0 (ie the 3rd client needs to be positioned (960,0) halfway acros the 24' screen.

My understanding was that keyclones maximise feature possibly could do this and i think i have managed to configure the program correctly however there is an issue which i didnt aniticpate. The eve client when it initally loads throws up a small splash screen before loading the main logon screen. Keyclone detects the splash screen as the main client, repositions the splash screens which promptly close when the main screens loads, back in the default poisitons.

So I put it to the experts. Have i missed something basic in Keyclone or is there another app out there that can setup multiple clients in a desidered configuration with window boarders stripped.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Cheers.

InnerSpace will do this. But use it at your own risk. There is no official OK from CCP.

Innerspace is used to support a bot for EVE.

_If_ CCP ever decide to actually do something about bots, because as far as I can see they're neutral about them at worst despite what their public policies say, then there might possibly be some danger to using Innerspace.

As to getting KeyClone working have you tried using the manual add button instead? Don't know if that will work but it might?

I think you'd be like 99% safe in real terms, I've never even heard of a CCP doing _anything_ about bots, in fact I suspect that about 30% of all EVE 'players' are bots becasue it seems strange to me that the number of online players remains at a consistently high level throughout the day. If everyone playing was a regular person then I'd expect the graph to be much 'jerkier'. I think the 15-20,000 players playing what looks like 23 hours a day are bots.

Im assuming by manual add you mean the "add button" on the main screen. I have tried activating it and clinking a client, but the next step after that to actually assign that active client to a region is a mystery. :cursing:

I have a sneaky suspicion that the loading of the client with its splash screen will screw keyclone up every time.

The annoying thing is I suspect that possibly what i wish to do could be accomplished with command switches in the shortcut itself (ie 1 switch for no boarder and another for the screen coordinate) but who knows.

If I recall correctly its a right click on the client name in keycone and select maximizer>region from the popup menu - going from memory here.

TBH. ive given up on Keyclone.
I decided to just reduce the size of the 3rd client to "fit" in the space allocated to it, and use the awesome power of my imagination to "pretend" i don't see the windows boarder. :whistling:

If you resize the EVE window then it doesn't change the mouse input. i.e. If you try to click on a button on the resized window you're actually clicking elsewhere

AFAIK EVE uses a different form of mouse input than WoW, when you resize a WoW window clicking with the mouse works correctly, this is not the case in EVE.

Thus PiP features tend not to work.
