1. Once I get the KVM switch going, I know I can use the "switches" to turn the one keyboard so that it controls any one of the four computers. I'm hoping it also will (and this is what I don't know) allow me to use the one keyboard to control all four computers with one button. Meaning if I push the "1" button for what I have that spell/ability set for will it simultaneously push the "1" button on all four computers?
A standard vanilla kvm will not send a single key to multiple computers, but there are special kvms which can do this. One of the local favs is made by Vetra.

2. Also I know the KVM switch also allows me to hook my mice up to it as well. Will clicking my mouse button then simultaneously click the left/right mouse on all four computers?
Also not a standard kvm function, the normal kvm lets you switch a single mouse and keyboard to control a single computer from the group of attached computers. However, there are specialized hardware units like this: http://www.vetra.com/845Ukmtext.html
which are able to send keyboard and mouse to all computers at once. This is a much more expensive solution than using software (which can cost as little as $0), but there are other benefits including the ability to claim 100% immunity to "3rd party software" issues and the extra cpu power of running 5 entire computers (although software solutions can handle multiple PCs also).
