Default Multi Class Group in PvP

Anyone out there PvP with a Multi class Group?

Been doing the Midsummer quests and finding out that my PvE crew is lacking in the PvP everything. So figured if anyone had advice or has PvP with a multi class group we can post it all here.

    My Group is
    Pally Tank
    Priest Healer
    Shaman DPS
    Mage DPS
    Druid DPS

Trying to find Synergy with this group for PvP is well not easy.. but Rocks for PvE Content, as i've been able to farm Most heroics, as well as OS25, Naxx 25 with my guild on rare occasions.

As you've noticed PvP is a little different from the PvE game.
If you're successful in PvE, you have good dps gear which is an advantage.

One major difference is threat. Opponents kill whoever is easiest/most dangerous.
They ignore threat and taunt, but a Hand of Protection works no matter what.
If the pally has Divine Shield (the one where they take 50% of the groups damage) that forces some of the burst to be directed to the tank.

Having the followers with both: "Click to Move" enabled and an "Interact with Target" keybind is huge.
No matter where they go, you can click interact and then forward/back movement key (not left/right) to end movement.
Your slaves (dps) are all facing their target, so can cast freely.

For pvp, the Shaman may prioritize totems differently then pve play.
Tremor will be the earth totem of choice, over just about anything.
Fire will generally be Totem of Wrath, but Frost Resistance Totem is useful against a Frost Mage.
Water would generally be Mana Spring, as your entire group uses mana, but Cleansing Totem can be important vs DK's or Rogues.
Air will generally be Grounding in pvp.

Having the mage sheep, druid cyclone/root, shaman hex can give you a bit of a breather.
In pvp's, in general once a toon has used their trinket they're very close to dead.
So either they stay CC'd for the duration or become very vulnerable to anything else you might do.
The Priest has Psychic Scream as a CC/Breather spell too, if they trinket out of CC, they are vulnerable to fear (or vice versa).

Blizzard, Huricane, Magma Totem, Consecrate and Holy Nova can make it very painful for melee classes.
You'll need some form of mouse broadcasting for Blizzard and Hurricane.
Keyclone has an option for mouse broadcasting, I believe HKN and IS do as well.
If won't be an exact target, but if the aspect ratio (x,y dimensions for example 4 wide to 3 tall) is the same for each client that helps.
Also if they have the same view it helps too. Add /Script SetView(4);SetView(4) to your AoE keybinds.
Ideally pressing AoE will have the Main and Mage/Druid run that script and press their Hurricane/Blizzard keybinds.
Quickly enable mouse broadcasting, my toggle is F7 but use whatever is easy, and then click near the group so they're in your AoE.

Purge and Mass Dispel can give you an advantage against a lot of classes.
You can remove an opposing Paladins bubble or most other defensive abilities.
Mass Dispel with your focus dps target within its area can go a long ways to killing things.

Against classes which attack quickly, such as rogues or enhancement shammies or some warriors...
The combination of Retribution Aura and Thorns is very deadly.

Ultimately, if you initiate pvp you have an advantage but if you're targeted by another they do.
With five, you have an advantage in that you'll outnumber your opposition most of the time.
If you have a few preset moves which you can do fairly quickly it can buy you a little bit of time.
The Priest Fear bomb will definitely help buy you time to focus on whoever.

Last point could be a little expensive but is worthwhile mentioning.
A paladin tank is at a severe disadvantage in pvp's because your dps is relatively low and no one in their right mind will focus you first.
Dual Spec, into retribution or holy could be a strong option.
Ret uses similar (melee) gear but obviously you'd prefer dps stats to defense and avoidance.
Holy spec or Prot-Healing, either way with Spell Power/Stamina gear gives you a very hard to kill healer.
If the Pally dual specs to healing, I'd strongly recommend the priest to go Shadow.
That way you have Prot/Holy spec for PvE, and a pvp spec as well for when you might be flagged.

Depends on what you want to achive in pvp, aka arena, bgs etc?

I would say you could do fairly well in bgs but you will get owned so hard in areans that you most likley never would return.

Your priest/mage will die extremley fast untill they are well geared, most newbs will zerg your paladin while your team can dps for free. (use divine protection instead of divine shield, its extremley hard to spot and it wont make your enemies swap to your casters.)

A pro tip is to hide your team by ledges and objects that can be fired trough and pretend to be a freekill on your paladin, kinda funny when you remove theyr hp within seconds. (it usualy taks 2-3 min before they realise it and release theyr dead body)
