    Default Problem with HKN+WVB !

Hi there, i just started to dual-box and im using "HotKeyNet" and ive got it to work well but i have a problem, i also want to use "WoW Voicebox" to be able to easyer do some commands like /follow main and /assist main with the sound of my voice, so my problem is, HotKeyNet renames my 2 instances of wow to WoW1 and WoW2 to be able to send keystroke's to different windows and when HKN renames my windows the "WoW Voicebox" cant send voice commands any longer becouse "WoW Voicebox" sends commands to window/s named "world of warcraft"... Is there anyway to fix that, or maybe u guys can get me another voice command software.. since the author of "WoW Voicebox" cant or dousen't have time to do a fix for this... If it helps, i have Windows Vista Ultimate x64

    Thanks in advance

It's not very likely, but it's possible, that WowVoiceBox tests only the first part of the window's name. If that's the case the following would work.

Name one window "World of Warcraft 1". Name the other "World of Warcraft 2". Use the complete names in HotkeyNet. (You'll need to put the names in quotation marks because they contain spaces.)

I've never tried any voice recognition software but I imagine any general-purpose VR program would work fine.

I orginally mapped a macro called assistmain to my 'F' key since the orginal assist feature of 'F' was kinda lame. The general concept is:
    /assist focus
    /follow focus

Gets everyone to assist and follow. Not bad.
The next part I added was Jamaba to fix the follow part. It does a "follow after combat". So you almost never, ever have to push follow, since the alts auto-magically follow after getting out of combat. I still use my 'F' key since I want to drag my melee people around during combat.

The next part of /assisting, I have my alts focus my main and then put in target options so my spells go off no matter who I am targeting. General idea:
    /cast [target=focus-target] DPSSpell
    /cast [target=focus-target-target] HealSpell

I would love the idea of voice commands, but my guess is the technology is just too new. Imagine cell phones back in the 90's. Okay, but not amazing. I would give it like 10 years until it works without so much training and having to be exact.

I use my Logitech G15 keyboard for 90% of my boxing stuff. Extra keys that aren't in my way to do stuff for everyone. I use 3 90% of the time. Attack, heal, misc. I just put /castsequences for the 3 keys and that is all I pretty much use. The rest are for random stuff (mounting, accept all macro, send pets only, etc).

Hope that helps, and good luck.

try the software on a normal boot, no HKN and it should see the name it wants. If VB works, use that name in your script where HKN puts WOW1
RAF Tour Guide files are obsolete, I went to Zygor
    MultiBoxers play with themselves

Thanks for those tips ElectronDFand alcattle Ive tryed VB Without HKN and then it worked flawless ofc, but the thing is.. HKN needs to have two different names to keep track of wich wow gets wich key press.. If im not totally lost.

So if i understand what ur saying i should put "World Of Warcraft" instead of "WoW1" and keep "WoW2" ? that ruins it for HKN.

    correct me if im wrong..

Either way.. Im really thankfull for u guys respons, keep coming with idea´s

PS. ElectronDF i have a G15 too, whats the name of the G-Keys in HKN? I have the G15 with 6x3 G-keys.

That will work fine for HotkeyNet because that's two different names. But from your description of the VR program, it will only be able to send commands to the window whose name didn't change.

Exactly, it send ONLY to instance's named "World Of Warcraft" i even looked at the Author's code and i found that peace of code, to bad im no coder :/

Basicly, either i need to have both my wow's named "World Of Warcraft" wich will make HKN unfunctional OR name them "WoW1" and "WoW2" or wootever and then "WVB" wont work :P
