I was wondering whats best for 5 warlocks for spec should they all be aff or demon or destro. I mean i will be playing in av alot with the occasional questing while waiting for ques. Cause of been doing destruction but seems like it doesnt do much for damage wise. Any ideas for an all 5 lock team.
They say spiders have 8 legs well i guess im a rare and unimaginable specimen. Ive got 9 legs and my web comes from that 9th leg. HaHa.

in my opinion you should make them all Affliction or Demo cause if your gonna AV Level all those dots will drop a person or even any mob in a heart beat... or Demo cause 5x felguards would be awesome...

I have an 80 lock he is Destro for raids and stuff and Affliction for all PvP Needs

5x DoTs don't do as much as you might think. I've seen resto shams and druids heal right through a full stack of DoTs from 4 locks. /shrug Classes that can't heal are dog meat but you'll hit the occasional healy type that just makes you go WTF.

Coordinated Felguard charges would be something nice to have.

That said, coordinated shadowfury's would be hell on a grouped bunch of players.

Dots would be nice for stick and move, but with 5 grouped warlocks I'd think you'd draw a lot of attention. When I solo'd my lock in BG's I could sometimes get away with doting up everything in a big melee.

Yea i was playing as destro and wasnt doing it quite as well lvl 62's meh. Though i switched over to aff and omg i just dot and run. Im sorry there aint no healer good enough so far. I got times 5 with agony times 4 and elements for added spell then corruption unstable and haunt then i start the fear cycle. Yea you trinket outta one fear so i death coil and re fear lol ur dead before u come out. I love the ones that think they will run away on mounts and heal away from me by then they dead.

I run affliction also and the good thing about it is you don't need to be facing your target. After you dot them up just spam drain life on melee and they wont be able to get behind you.

Level 80s can heal through my dots pretty easy but I'm 74 atm with only ~600 spell power. 80 tree druids are the hardest because even if I chain fear em they have their HoTs countering my DoTs. But if they are healing themselves they aren't doing anything else useful and definitely aren't going to pose a threat to you.

Devour Magic...can't eat Divine Shield (pally self-shield), but can eat Hand Of Protection (the shield pallies can cast on others).

Divine Shield can only be removed by a priest's Mass Dispell and a warriors Shattering Throw.

Hmm guess im adding my priesty into the lock mix 4 locks plus shadow priest = complete ownage bubbles go bye bye. Oh yea on the lock thing im seeing improved overall damage in av now but i guess 40-60k damage on 5 toons isnt bad considering im 8 lvls lower then the highest lvl their. Just wondering if this is the case at 70 should i be looking at 200k+ dps on all toons. That would be awesome top 5 being all locks and being me. I mean my sp atm is only 450 on best lock and 356 on the worst one. Guess this weekend i need to transfer my tank/dps dk from alliance to horde to start running my team thru bf and ramps a cpl times to get them all in the same blue gear. My mage has that sitting at lvl 70 with almost 800sp so i think at 70 i can pay to stop exp and twink them out for the time being till i get all thier pvp gear for lvl 80. 4 locks 1 shadow priest 5v5 team. What you think plenty of dps and heals and mass dispell i should be able to blow a healer away with good chain fears on both healers while dotting their dps up.

I cheated and put in a priest with my locks. I went demo and never looked back. 3 felguards and a felpup rockzors/boxors. Before felguards, I used 1 void or 2 depending on difficulity. I never had any problems with aggro or healing. I love the amped up healing and 30% damage reduction in demo. Now, I admit, I got hammerd in BGs since it was back in the twink days. I couldn't get super twinks off me enough. I did fine in the open field where I could throw my pets as demon-grenades, but in close quarters, I got munched due to only fear as defense and cloth armor.

I still love them and wished so hard everyone hadn't told me not to do them way back when I started boxing, since "You won't be able to do heroics, so don't do them". I guess I can get laughed at now, but I have never, not once done a heroic and am fine with it.
