If you have frost resistance (totem, aura,...) you don't need to move

No the resistance is just that you get no damage from jumping up but you do get thrown up; which I guess reduces your dps/slows things down, but it's easy to just ride it through rather than try to keep moving all the time (for me at least - though I haven't run this since the pet dropped - so total I only did it like 6 or 7 times and only 1 in H)

The enchanting recipe dropped on our very first Ahune kill. On normal.
Today, after 5 Ahune kills per day (our 52nd kill), we finally got the pet for my wife.
We did get 2 scythes while farming the pet.

I'm not sure but I guess if you do take some falling damage it's low enough that 3 healing stream totems are enough to make it no problem
