I'd be grateful if you could shed some light on two topics :

Seals
I wondered which seal to use on my pallies. There seems to have been a debate from the post done by Tdog between keeping SoComm or switching to SoV. I read Stealthy's post saying SoComm is bad, but there seems to have been new changes to it inbetween (if I got i right)

Also, is SoL useful for the tank ou should another one be used (SoR as mentioned by tdog ?)

Replacement
I am quite confortable to have a pally tank, so I don't intend to change it. I had however the temptation to switch one of the retrib pallies for another spec/class. Could you comment on the two following choices ?

  • Holy Pally, to make it a dedicated healer ? (doesn't seem to be quite common in the 5-pally setup)
  • A DPS DK (for the 13%), instead of a 4th pally who cast a blessing, but you seem to lose quite some life savers (healing, HoL, bubble, ...)

I want melee/mobility and plate. I'm not too kind in having to handle a fixed and more fragile DPS, which ruled out the shaman

Thanks for any clue you might provide.

Cheers,
Nyth
Seals:
SoComm is good for trash now, thanks to it's cleave-like ability. It's so-so in PvP - unless you're attacking multiple players, SoR is usually better. Use SoV for fights longer than 15 secs (i.e. bosses)
You could use SoL on your tank if you want, but I've never felt the need for it myself - you're reducing your DPS and you should be getting heals from instant FoL's (Art of War procs), DS and JoL's.
Replacements:
If I was going to sub a DK in for a pally, it would be as a tank rather than a DPS. With a tank you're not losing any healing, and the loss of a bubble is negligible anyway (since you never bubble your tank unless you want your alts to die ). At the same time you're bringing some nice buffs (HoW, Ebon Plague). Also since DK's require more management in terms of cool downs and runic power, its usually easier to do as a main, rather than an alt.
A holy pally seems kind of redundant - you should be getting plenty of heals from your rets anyway, and you'll be losing a large chunk of DPS.

Hope this helps...

Cheers,
S.
