I am not liking the look of these ret changes at all and after reading ghostcrawlers new posts I am even more discouraged.

For those who aren't aware, on the latest PTR build the change to SoV/SoC means that the dot is only stacking on white hits - this means for Rets using a slow two hander you're looking at about 15 secs to get to a full stack...way too long in PvP, and has actually turned out to be a nerf for PvE as well.

However it turns out the SoComm is double proc'ing on judgements (but only within a 5 yard range), which means its more viable for PvP now.

Given the shitstorm this has ignited on the WoW forums, I'm pretty sure there will be more changes before 3.2 goes live.

    Cheers,

Two things I think would make the changes much more palatable (pun intended :P) to the paladin community:

    - Allow crusader strikes to stack the SoV/SoC dot.
    - Buff the damage of SoComm by about 10-20% to make it truly viable in PvP again.

This would be pretty straight forward for Blizz to implement and doesnt require a major reworking of any current abilities...

Ya know, it's funny. They change the judgements so they have zero range and then nerf SoC to white hits. Just makes no sense unless they're trying to nerf pallies INTO. THE. GROUND. /shrug

With the melee-only judgements and cast time on exorcism, I'm very curious to see how my DPS does on elites. Honestly, considering how much burst pallyX5 does, I'm not worried about single non-elite targets.

You can't macro looting (would open the door for botting). Closest you can get is to bind a key to 'Interact with target' on each toon and then have them assist your main and press the key.

Welp, the girls are 80. Normal instances are such a steamroll with this group. Exception is bosses like the elemental in Gundrak. That damned AoE poison crap just hurts. Now to finish up the other zones for money.
