    Default Looting

Hey, ive just started multiboxing today and its great!
The only problem is looting on my slave...is there an easier way to do this or do i keep having to switch windows (well im using maximizer on keyclone so moving to the other window and clicking loot)
    Thanks

    Welcome to the forums.

Unless this has been changed you have to click on your alts window and actually loot yourself. Hence why collection quest are so unpopular with multiboxers.

Another looting trick.. mainly for boosting in instances... where you don't care about a lot of the loot.
Or if you're say farming Scarlet Monastery for Radiant Shards...

    1. Set your group to Master Loot, with your active/main toon as the Master Looter.
    2. On your main toon, select to "Opt out of loot".
    3. Set your loot threshold.

Essentially, anything below the threshold is a Free For All, with any toon able to loot it freely.
Your main toon has chosen to pass on everything, so nothing sparkles below the threshold.
Anything at or above the threshold does sparkle, because the main gets to master loot it to one of your toons.
So you could set your threshold to greens and above or blues and above, and skip everything else because the only corpses to sparkle have something on them.

What if I want whites and above? basically I want everything but gray, because the clothes are usually enough to level tailoring on 2 toons? I found that I can only set threshold to green

    Yes, that is a drawback.
With loot threshold your options are Green, Blue or Purple. Common, Rare or Epic.

If you want cloth as well (white quality) then you need to manually check every corpse.
If you'll be vendoring crap anyway, then loot it all.

If you are picking and choosing what to loot, the auto loot within interface options is a good option.
You can set Alt (or Control or Shift) as the loot key.
You can auto loot everything only when the key is pressed or only when the key is not pressed.
Generally I have auto loot everything unless I hold Shift while looting a corpse.
If I run Deadmines for Linen/Wool, I reverse that to only auto loot with Shift, so I don't pick up the 2s selling gray quality items.
