    Default How to see what nforce board you are using?

    sorry to post this here if its the wrong place, but I am unsure wether or not I am using an Nforce 7 or 9 board, is there a software tool to check this?

    You should be able to find out with CPU-Z in the mainboard tab.

    I'd test it but CPU Z doesn't like my computer.

    If you know the model / maker of yur mb, just goolge it and "chipset" and you should get the infos

    I use Belarc Advisor on any system I come across. It does a pretty good inventory of everything on a system.
