    Default Dual Monitor setup

Hi, I have 2 video cards and monitors, I attached the other monitor to the video card, when to nvidia control panel , selected "The same on both displays(clone)"

so now both monitors show the exact same thing, also disabled Sli.

Is this the correct way to begin using keyclone?

I am having some trouble setting it up, I want to dual box 2 toons, the main one being on my main monitor and the other one being on the secondary, I want to be able to switch monitors ect, thanks

you might run into trouble with wows on different graphics cards if you ever swap them

    also, what OS?

besides that, why would you want the same thing on both monitors?

No I'm trying to run 2 account on 2 monitors, 1 pc. 2 video cards.

also using win xp pro 64 bit.

I want to run them in full screen like you normally would with 1 wow.

No for working with 2 monitors, you have to go into the Nvidia controls, and then make it so the 2 windows are NOT copies of eachother but two separate.. continual monitors. This is so for example, you can move ur mouse from the left of monitor 1 to the right of monitor 1, then at the edge it will switch over to monitor 2's left edge.. and so on.. So now you can open 2 wow windows, put them in windowed mode to start.. you can pull them around, and make it so they are both on 1, but you specified you wanted one on each.. So pull 1 of each to each monitor, then go into the wow settings, and put it back into the full screen mode. Now you have a wow in each of the 2 computer screens.

ok scratch that cause my other monitor is not working properly

Can I use keyclone with 2 accounts and not use maximizer so they are both in full screen and not windowed mode?

afaik, you cannot have more then one app in fullscreen mode on the same machine.

so then can I have the main one in full screen and the background one in windowed mode?

    i dunno, never tried.

why not just have both in windowed mode, and use the maximizer to make them look like they are both in fullscreen mode?

because its not fullscreen and the graphics take a big hit, its not enjoyable to play like thatf

Im currently playing on 3 new accounts (have to get my 2 spriests and druid to 80 for my 2nd 5box team) anyway, I have 2 - 22" monitors. on the "main" monitor in front of me I have my main lead in regular full screen (not windowed at all). I then open 2 more wows (I have 10 wow's installed on a 500gig sata drive for eaiser control and setup) and put them in windowed mode and make them a bit smaller so they both fit on the screen and then just drag them over to the 2nd monitor. Ive had 4 accounts on the second monitor with no problems at all when im 5 boxing.

im using an sli setup but only using one of the cards for my monitors. The way I set it up is depending on what chars im running. the way the windows are set up will always open the same way because each char will ahve its own wow client.

When i save up enough to get 42 flat screen (almost there) ill use the maximizer.

If you only have one monitor, you can open wow, put it in windowed mode and close it. that will make it easier on you to open the rest. once you open wow again it will be in windowed mode. Just make it smaller and move it to the left top of the screen. then open another and leave it in a bigger windowed setting. ive done that at a friends house with atleast 3 wows and it works great.

might have helped you, mighit have not but it was fun typing it out.
