Thread: New to boxing

    Default New to boxing

Hi there all, been hanging around here for a while, reading, and researching. I just recently decided to actually try boxing.

Went out and grabbed two new copies of WoW, set up my RAF (Original account invited both new ones), and got started with my 3 shaman group.

I had always wanted a shaman, but could never level through the early stages, but decided with RAF, it'd fly by. My three now are 43 - taking it slow -
and I'm loving it, though I seem to be having an issue with working around with macros. I tend to just skip a lot of new spells, as they don't benefit me
too much so I'll not take the time to work out ways to incorporate them into my systems.

This site has been an awesome help, so much good information and advice here (at least there is if you look for it.) Keyclone has been great, once I
got my head around the setup I hardly ever think about it anymore (thanks to, once again, all the good info/advice that's here.)

I still haven't decided if I'm going to stop at 60 and level another group or two, or if I want to push on towards 80. I'd feel silly not to make at least
one more group. So I might just level new groups as I wait to build up rested exp on my shamans.

Anyway, just wanted to actually say hi to all of you out there that have been helping me in one way or another.

I do tend to get bored with a class fairly (well, way too often), so having 3 or 4 sets of classes, that I could possibly mix up, once I gain confidence would come in handy.

    And thanks for the welcome.

Welcome to the forums. And run more accounts if you can, 3 is fun but 4 or 5 is even more fun.

Oh and yeah level lots of teams under the RAF because once it is gone .... it REALLY suxs not having it.

Well it was also an intention of mine to at a later date, I would use account2 and account3 to invite account 4 and 5, and use account 1 for boosting.
But that will have to wait until I update my PC a little. So I don't want to clutter my accounts too much, and to give myself some good, unused combos.

At the moment I do have a spare, unused account, but it only has a few horde 70s on it, so unless i make a horde set, boosting with it is out of the question.

So far boxing has 100% recaptured my interest in the game, it was getting a tad stale for me.

For sure, I also love seeing the reactions of people questing around you. They run past, stop, turn around and you get a ping of a whisper. makes me smile every time.
A lot of people seem to be interested in learning how to do it also, which is good. No one has seemed angry yet (fingers crossed).

Last night I got a comment "Noobs always in pairs, I do this on all on my own!" while I was in a starter area. I ignored him

Does that mean I'm safe, as there are three of me?
