Default Diwei Dual/Quad Monitor Stands: Anyone have one?

I just saw these on Amazon and they're quite a lot cheaper than anything else out there. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with their quality before I picked one up. The 2-monitor one says it holds up 2x 22" max, but the quad one doesn't specify max size. I've got a 24", 22", and 17" and I'd love to put the 24" and 17" (portrait) on the bottom, with the 22" on top (above the 17" probably, for balance, and adjusted as close to center as possible.)

Quad LCD Monitor Stand desk clamp ($89)

Thoughts on either the stands themselves, or whether you think the quad would work the way I proposed?

    edit:
Noticed they have models with stands instead of clamps, and a hex clamp:

For $50 I'll bite. Right now, my dual monitor stand consists of a 1"x1"x10" block of wood, a door hinge, 1/2 tube of epoxy and some duct tape.

Ill let you know some time after June 29th -July 2nd

I'm curious to know the result also. I wouldn't mind picking one up myself for the extra desk space if they are any good.

Is June 29th - July 2nd yet? LOL

The DS100 is their cheapest quad stand, does not clamp at the base (just a simple pedestal) and the "arms" are just a slider bar that is no where near as adaptable as the $89 one linked here. Not to mention it is @ 3x the price. Honestly, I think the $89 one linked here is the better stand reguardless of price....and then it's also the less expensive stand by @$200....unless you really wanted to own an ERGOTRON just so you can say you only use ERGOTRON stands and don't care what you pay for what you get.

I use 2 of the quad stands. works great. Mounting system feels very secure (this is on a glass table with steel framing that isn't the simplest surface to mount things to), the arms are holding up my 17" screens great with no drooping and offers alot of adjustments to let you position the screens as needed.

I have had 1 of the quad stands for over 2 years now and got the second one maybe a year ago. Everything is still holding up like new, none of the adjust points are showing any signs of even wanting to try drooping. All these things are are steel tubing, a base to support it, mounting plates for the screens and adjustable points. It is amazing people still pay $$$$$$$$$$$ for Ergotrons. It's like they attached some mysticism to monitor stands requiring them to be overpriced to be good.

I received mine on Friday and am very impressed with the build quality. It is very heavy gauge steel and the welds are strong. The finish is perfect and it looked great fully assembled.

I did have one problem, the table I am using for a desk has an awkward side rail and the clamp was not able to secure to the table. Since this is a temporary office, I will make sure my new desk can handle a clamp-on stand like this. My issues aside, the clamp is very nice. It uses two heavy screw clamps and is adjustable up to 6"+

I just had to see it work, so I took my monitors to the garage and hung it off the side of my workbench. It held my dual 22"s fine and I was able to adjust it in all the ways I expected (left/right and tilt) to the configuration I wanted (one landscape the other portrait, concave to each other, perpendicular to my desk)

Be warned, that the arm is one piece, so you cannot offset the heights. If you want your monitor centers to be at different heights, this is not the product for you.

Conclusion: for us cheap bastards, this thing is awesome!!! I will definitely buy from this manufacturer again.

How far apart can you set the 22's? I'm trying to decide if I can use a dual arm mount to hang my 22's on either side of my 28"...

I have a question for those that currently have these devices. I am thinking about getting one, just not sure if I want the 2 or the 4. I currently have 2 19" monitors on my main comp, plus another 19 widescreen on a seconday computer. I am hoping to upgrade to 22" at some point. However, i notice that while the smaller one says it can handle up to 22" monitors the 4 monitor one only says 19". Is this just because of size? or is weight going to be an issue?

@HERC130: Nice setup there. What do you use to hold the monitor above your primary center one? The one you use for videos when raiding? I can see where the 2 - 4 monitor ones are, but can't really tell what is holding that guy up.

I'll take some measurements, but even with both side's in portrait, I doubt there'd be room for any widescreen between the two, nevermind 28"

For the upper center 22" screen, I used an ergotron. Was on sale in circuit city for $50 when I got it

That one does droop, which is to be expected for the design. It is not really tall enough to use it the way I have it set-up. I did a ghetto fix for it by getting a small $10 table clamp at home depot and bending a steel bar into an L shape, clamping one end onto the table clamp and then using the other end for the ergotron mount to clamp onto.
