Well the problem is that, there isn't always enough people with the same gear levels around to put together a well balanced game. Which actually brings me to something I see being a problem on the horizon for twinks. It's probably going to take ALOT longer for matches to happen for the lower brackets as most people who do infact pvp at lower brackets aren't twinking. When you really stop at think about it, there is usually only like 1-2 twinks in a 19 bracket wsg game. Sure sometimes you run into a full twink premade, but that happens so infrequently in reality. I've actually been in plenty of 19 bracket games that had no twinks at all and most definitely been in other brackets where you rarely ever see twinks.

I'm thinking that if Blizzard wants to make this a success that once you turn off xp gains instead of just matching you up against other people who have xp turned off from just your battle group, you should be matched up against people with xp turned off from all battlegroups.

Yes to both. The problem is that if they make the gear-matching too strict the BG queue times become extremely long. So assuming they didn't turn it off, it doesn't work very well because the range of allowable gear is very wide.

Agree thats one of the main reasons I quit playing WSG. I didnt have the time to spend an hour in one game.

I have been contemplating making a twink, or twink team, for a while now. This makes it much easier to build a twink and gear them out without having to worry about getting too much XP or waiting at the front of the deadmines until your booster get to Smite. You can also control exactly when you ding. You can be level 19 and 1XP if you time it right. That way you can leave XP on and and destroy WSG all you want - depending on exactly how the XP is gained. Or leave it off most of the time and if you are in a bad mood (like me today being cut off no less then 15 times on my drive to work - I love Dallas traffic) turn it on for a bit and devistate the normals. Then turn it back off when you nolonger feel the need to be a d-bag.

I had been holding off actually twininkg for two reasons. 1 with the last round of changes I expected more to come. And 2 I wasn't sure what I wanted to roll. I played a semi-twinked 18 pally as a healbot - which was fun.With the new mount changes and Druids getting travel for at 16, my decision has been made. Druids will dominate the 19 bracket like they used to dominate the 39 bracket - well close. I might just do it now.

I can see it just leading to twinking being dead on most servers/Battlegroups. But then there will be a battlegroup where all the twink teams migrate their characters to. I like the idea, I havent played a twink since classic wow but Id be tempted to level a twink multibox team now.

These days, when I WSG.. pretty much have two windows open.
a) warcraft; b) dvd/downloaded TV show.

They're about equal size.
Have about as much concentration on each.

If the pvp is good, pause the other window.
If it drags out, unpause and at least have some background distraction.
I'm never really afk, because I'm running around looking for things to kill.
Or patrolling the area around a flag etc.
Still, did the 30 WSG, 30 AB, 30 AV marks for a pvp mount, and it made the AB/WSG seemingly fast.
