I was doing it just fine with my 1xprot warrior 4xelemental shammies team. But I switched to 5x pallies awhile back.
I'm actually thinking about making my tank either a warrior or a feral druid on my pally team though :|
I've cleared, Nexus, HoL, Gundrak, UK, Start, DK (all heroic) with my warrior before I swith to a Paladin because my guild wanted a paladin tank. Tanking with the warrior is just as easy to do as with a paladin. Actually I think it's more fun to tank with the warrior, whilst playing the paladin I always miss charge. As things are now the only thing you should consider when choosing a tank is what kind of buffs you want/need.
At the end of the day I feel that the instances go faster with the warrior and there is more micro management with the paladin.

I found warrior tanking as easy as with any other tank and lots of fun, especially charge and shockwave are just great.
I've been running a group with a prot warrior, 3 shammies and a priest and did most of the heroics without much problems (and those I had where not related to the warrior).
Personally I prefer either pally or warrior over a druid or dk when it comes to tanking 5-man content since shield block really has some use (not that great when it comes to raids though).
Warriors however don't bring that much synergies to your group like a pally e.g. but play the tanking class you enjoy the most - each of the currents ones are totally viable as mb-tanks.
I've cleared almost all heroics (only occulus and halls of stone left), naxx, os and voa while multiboxing a prot warrior tank. I've got one castsequence on the warrior that spams thunderclap, demo shout and devastate. Tactics are slightly different from the palladin tactics (instead of placing down a consecration, you place your warrior at that spot and the spam macro should pickup the adds).
There's only two boss fights that I've encountered in northrend that are a bit tricky with a warrior. Anub'arak in Azjol-nerub takes some practice because the adds that spawn during the fight will tend to directly go for your healer (not really a problem if you're prepared to taunt them immediately). The tribunal of ages is really a pain because the adds in that fight are scripted to run past your tank and attack Brann instead, although I have to admit I've only attempted this fight a couple of times.
A prot warrior (only) adds a health buff to the group. It does make a big difference when you're starting with heroics, but it becomes less useful once your gear becomes better because you only need sufficient health to survive an encounter (any extra health only serves as a buffer). What does make a big difference are the warrior's damage reduction debuffs. Stunning entire groups of trash, disarming whirlwinding bosses and reflecting spells does contribute to the survivability of a group.
Well, my "main" team will have a pally MT - But, when I level my second team I want to have another tank with them from 60-80 - Warrior seems most fun to have, but druid might be better for 10 boxing (but rather not level 2 druids at once)

Once im done with my DK, hunter, mage, lock, priest team i plan on making a warrior led team, not sure on what classes ill pout in it, but i really want another warrior. Warriors are alot of fun, plus now with duel spec i can easily tank for my team than switch to MS and destroy everyone in pvp lol.

That depends on your group make-up. While no Warriors don't synergize well with a caster group, 5x Sunder Armor synergizes extremely well with a all paladin or melee group. So do all the stuns, and the disarm as whirlwinding bosses are dirty dirty whores when it comes to an all melee group.Originally Posted by 'Raskaz',index.php?page=Thread&postID=209350#post2 09350
Edit: I haven't actually tried a warrior MT yet on my all pally group as my 80 prot warrior is horde and my 5x pally team is ally. I'm leveling up a 2nd 5x pally team on horde now and once they reach 80 I'm planning on giving that a try.
Rebuffing all the time. But yes the actuall tanking is done with one key, same as on the warrior.Originally Posted by 'Fursphere',index.php?page=Thread&postID=209408#po st209408

I rebuff with smart buff addon.
I have the rebuff on the same button for all of my toons (/click SmartBuff_Button or something like that ) so pallys do their thing, shaman throw up water shield, mages, priests & warlocks all do their thing at the same time.
I press it before each fight, it's not really a problem, it's second nature to me.
