I've been using a warrior to tank, it's not too bad once he's geared enough. As others have mentioned, I do miss not having blessings.

My warrior tanks with 3 keys:
    - One taunt
    - One shield bash to interrupt spells
    - One castrandom (devastate, shockwave, shield slam, thunderclap)

He holds aggro well and I've had few problems with him. My one main complaint is that he doesn't have a constant aoe pulse like a DK or paladin, which makes instances that have adds run past him a serious pain when thunderclap is on cooldown (like violet hold).

Overall I've done pretty well with my warrior.

Demo Shout actually works pretty well for picking up running by adds when TC is down. Sure not as well as consecration and DnD but well enough.

My tanking macro also includes a demo shout in its rotation. It's good enough for preventing adds from immediately going after the healer. Also, I have a separate key that just spams demo shout. I use it for pulling large packs of mobs when doing collection quests.

The tribunal of ages is really a pain because the adds in that fight are scripted to run past your tank and attack Brann instead
I HATE Tribunal of ages! :cursing: Makes me wanna rip my hair out! Imo it is the hardest 5-man heroic event to multibox in game atm. (At least without passive aoe like what pala/dk have) Last time my team cleared it we all died! Brann Bronzebeard only just survived. He was still talking with the "computer" when i ran back in to loot chest.

#1 - I have tried to move as group to avoid beams: whole party taking beam dmg while add stuns in place = wipe. Also not much dps, mobs add up too quickly.
#2 - I have tried to spread out and move toons away from beams: toon usually dies if not moved immediately. This also stops dps and healing for a while.
#3 - I have tried to spread out and heal through the beams: needs fast reaction and big heals. Difficult but seems to work best for me. I can concentrate more on tanking, just need to keep my eye on health bars.

I'm working on one of each class to 80. Currently have 7 80s, but still have DK/War/Hunt at level 63 now and about to start them full-time till I get them to 80 (perhaps this weekend). I may put the Pali/DK/War all on the same account so I can pick and choose between each tank at will. Though I may end up putting at least one on my priest account, then use either druid or shaman healer to mix things up. I want to be able to mix-match just about everything for variety.

As far as micromanagement, it seems like the War and Pali are probably going to be about the same. Liberal use of AoE to maintain agg, individual use of taunt/intercept to pick up adds during a fight. Creation of a robust tank macro will make 90% of the work fairly simple, as it currently does for my pali. I'm going to miss the Captain America shield on the warrior compared to pali for the ranged group taunts/pulls/silence (re: the above mentioned Brann event), but the warrior brings different tools to make other fights easier too (spell reflect, shield wall, shouts, etc).

I'm looking forward to trying the warrior out as tank. Will be a nice change to the group dynamic from pali/DK.
