You don't have the talent points to spec two of daggers/fist, swords or maces, so you'll want to pick one category.
Dagger/Fist is one category now, through Close Quarters Combat.
Dagger/Fist is slightly superior to dual-swords, both are far ahead of dual-maces.
In either case, grab a slow main-hand and a fast off-hand.

Single boxing a combat rogue in raids...
Basically condensing the Elitist Jerks thread.

Generally speaking, Sinister Strike to 3+ combo points and Slice & Dice.
Sinister Strike to 5 combo points and Rupture.
Sinister Strike to 5 combo points and Eviscerate if SnD has 12+ seconds remaining, otherwise Slice & Dice.

Wound Poison on the main hand, Deadly Poison on the off-hand.
Use the spec cooldowns whenever possible.
Note Adrenaline Rush and Blade Flurry -or- Blade Flurry and Killing Spree work great in tandem, but AR/KS aren't a good combo.

Not exactly sure how you'd add this to a boxing macro.

Granted that my rogue group isn't real high, I have found S&D to be a waste of energy, as even elites don't seem to last long enough to be worthwhile. Maybe I am confused but I remember having a fast off hand weapon for poisons was good, but I thought they made the poison procs/minute so speed wasn't such a factor. I like to give one rogue crippling poison, and one mind-numbing, and instant (possibly wounding) the rest. I really don't need the first two in all situations, but that's what I do anyway. Mobs have too little life to bother with deadly for the most part IMO.
I don't have my macros handy but I love having backstab in, because the mob always has his back to at least one rogue. That means daggers instead of swords or maces. My dwarven team uses dagger/mace until I find better daggers or fist weapons get some better items. YMMV
    Something like:
    /castsequence [targetwhatever] reset=yaddayadda backstab,
/castsequence [targetwhatever] reset=yaddayadda Sinister Strike, Eviscerate

Note: This is from memory of a team I have not played in a long time (since WotLK), now I've got the urge again. Altitis strike!

Due to the nature of multi boxing and slaves on follow, especially with melee I would not recomend speccing to always use abilitys with positional requirements such as ambush.
I would have agreed with you back in the day but the glyph of ambush fixed all my problems. I don't have to be any where near my target to stab em now :P

SnD is our highest damage finishing move.
Of course that depends on the target (or another target) being around for the ~30 seconds of SnD time.

You can look at any finisher as an opportunity cost.
If the mob has 1000 hit points remaining, and your Eviscerate will hit for 4,000-6,000 points, some of that is wasted.
Similarly a Kidney Shot is wasted, both because the mob is dead in the next second and because it is then not available until the cool down.
Slice and Dice is almost universally better because even if the mob dies, you have the buff for the next mob.

In a boxing context, against anything other then a boss, you'll be going through mobs very quickly indeed.
I'd be surprised if you get to five combo points that often, with 3 dps toons a tank and a healer.
Even more so, if your healer can and does dps, and only heals when you need them in that role.

/castsequence reset=target/combat Sinister Strike, Sinister Strike, Slice and Dice, Sinister Strike, Sinister Strike, Sinister Strike, Sinister Strike, Eviscerate

That might do for your general spam dps macro. Not sure if its the best, but it will work.

Combat is probably the best spec to box, unless you're going with an all rogue team.
I cannot imagine maintaining a Mutilate spec with say a tank, healer and two shaman's.
Maintain Hunger for Blood always, 1 point Slice and Dice, 1 point Envenom, 5 point Rupture, 1+ point Envenom (to refresh SnD).
A lot more going on with Mutilate then Combat.
