    Default Targeting a random target

Quick question. Is there a way to use /target to target a random player? ?(

    whats the purpose?

I have heard of people doing something like what I list below but I have not personally tried it:

    Toon 1
    /targetenemyplayer
    /cast <spell>

    Toon 2
    /targetenemyplayer
    /targetenemyplayer
    /cast <spell>

    Toon 3
    /targetenemyplayer
    /targetenemyplayer
    /targetenemyplayer
    /cast <spell>

    Toon 4
    /targetenemyplayer
    /targetenemyplayer
    /targetenemyplayer
    /targetenemyplayer
    /cast <spell>

Well I ideally would like to cast Hex randomly on a large group of the opposing faction. I've tried what you suggested, but it seems that it only allows one /targetenemyplayer per macro.

    /targetenemy 1

    reverses the order.

    hm...I'll have to give the /targetenemy 1 a try.

Any other ideas, I would love to hear them!

i've tried the /targetenemy line in my macros as well, even tried the ones with multiple /targetenemy lines before the /cast spell and still won't work. hell, won't even target an enemy for my slaves before going into combat. what I'm tryin to do here is use a mass /cast Hunter's Mark for my hunter party. that way I can run into or near a mob or in battlegrounds and toss up marks on a crowd then start firing away. only way i can get this to work is by targeting something with main, then hitting the /assist key, have them target the enemy, but even then, they all cast HM on that one enemy instead of all the enemies in the mob. I run 4 accounts, so would I use the following macros?

main > no macro, straight up /cast Hunter's Mark

    slave 1
    /targetenemy 1
    /cast Hunter's Mark

    slave 2
    /targetenemy 2
    /cast Hunter's Mark

    slave 3
    /targetenemy 3
    /cast Hunter's Mark

or how would the numbers go in this setup? how would it go if i have my priest leading my three hunter slaves?

this is a very useful macro, but it seems it won't work for everyone. I'll test this out, but as of now, i don't see this working either.
