    Default Battle.net Account merging question

If I merge my wow account to a battle.net log in can I still use key clone to launch my wow so that maximizer is used?

I'm concerned that if I merge my accounts maximizer will not be funtional.

One more question. My son and I play, if I merge our accouts, all in the my name btw, can we both play at the same time

or do I need two battle.net accounts?

    Thanks!

You can log into each account under the battle.net account seperately just as you normally do. Maximizer will still work, however the input of the username won't be needed since all accounts will use the same name, you will have to cycle through and select which account you're logging into.

Here is a thread I posted when I did my conversions, lots of good info in the replies.

If you use seperate config.wtf files (either through file virtualization in Innerspace or multiple copies of wow or linking etc) you don't have to do anything to select the right account. I have all 5 of my clients setup on their own config.wtf files which allows me to easily log in using my battle net account and one password, then each appropriate wow account is already selected in the drop down.

    SET accountName "your battle.net login"
    SET accountList "account1|account2|!account3|account4|account5 "

The accountList option that has the ! before the name will be the name that is shown in the box. In this example account3 will be shown.

Note: The login and account names shown above are only placeholders for this example.

    Thanks Folks!

    one last question...

Should my son and I have seperate battle.net account names or share the same one?

We log on and play at the same time.

    Thanks!

That depends entirely on if you want him to be able to take the account with him when he turns 18 or expect him to get a new one then. If you want his account to ever be at a different physical location (and you get an authenticator like any intelligent wow player aspires to) you would want seperate battle.net accounts.
