Needs to be petted!

Hey, I am looking up this warning message online and can't seem to find anything either on this site or off of Google.

I am a noob Hunter and am getting the message on the Hunter that she "needs to be petted." I feed the pet religiously and I have the green smiley face but I still get the message.

What's going on?

This. Probably a typo in your /petattack or /petdefensive macro. Note that all of those are /petattack, /petdefensive, /petpassive, not /pet attack, /pet defensive, etc.

lol my GF was having the same thing about 2 days back and yes as already stated you have somthing like


/pet attack
not /petattack

as /pet emotes you need to be petted

Thats exactly what it is, he must be using /petattack instead of using /pet attack
