I need to do this on my DK and 3 shaman. My druid has it, but I haven't been able to convince the guild to do it again since. And the thought of pugging it on my server makes me want to punch noobs.
yeah pugs are always led by some lvl 72 lookin for "LFM For The Alliance 80+ only pst!!!1"
so my policy on that has always been stay very far away...
Bot (80 Paladin) / Carfire (80 Shaman)
Alliance, Madoran US
I was worried about the PUG I joined - and somewhat rightfully given that they turned right in org passing/instead of entering thrall's throne directly, went down in TB instead of up, etc... but because it was very late I think it was forgiving - plus we were a large number. I was worried I wouldn't see pugs as most people (including my main) did this months ago... but there was one just few hours after I dinged 80 on my last shaman so I was glad to get this done - lag was pretty bad though so I couldn't really have tanked+healed - I just dps'ed and buffed (totems and heroism) ppl

My first, "For the Alliance" was put together by a 60th level Paladin, who wanted level 70+, but would take anyone.
Needless to say, it was not pretty.
With minimal resistance in Ogrimmar, the raid wiped twice.
Buffs took place in front of lowbies right in the newbie zones, so they had lots of advance warning.
Even with zero resistance in Thunder Bluff, the raid could not take out Caern, which is rather sad.
Second raid was lead by alts from Pirate, which is one of the top alliance guilds on the server, as far as PvE progression goes.
The requirement was level 80 only.
They buffed and summoned out of site of the cities, so they were hit without warning.
Four for four, with a few deaths here or there, but 90%+ of the raid alive with each city leader down.
Able to rez right there, and such.
An organized raid is worth 100x as much as a non-organized raid.
Both were Pugs.
I remember doing this @ 70, it was pretty hard since casters would do like 300 dps, and melee 1100...due to missing hit, and bosses being 80 boss level mobs. That was with 36 people and 90% of the raid in full sunwell gear.
And grats!
Congratulations
I remember getting my war bears one or two months ago, was a great feeling. Except only 4/5 rogues got it so now I have 4 warbears and one white tiger running around lol :P (I dropped one rogue from raid to let a friend get the achievement)
