I did... I finally stopped 6-boxing EQ2 about 2 mos ago when I found myself as the Main Tank group in our guild raids. That is power the likes I have never felt before. I held the entire raid on my shoulders. One slipup and we wipe. Now granted, the guild was very understanding, but I just couldn't take it anymore. If you've ever 6-box'd the MT Group in a Raid, you know what i'm talking about.

To 6-box eq2 on one machine and get all the toons functional is one thing. Having 18 other people rely upon your skill and your hardware is something totally different. I pulled it off, mind you, with flying colors... but the stress was just too much, so I 'quit'.

The problem is, I'm now bored. I was soo bored, that I even installed the WOW Trial client, created a druid, got the first quest and killed three mobs before I was instantly bored again. Maybe quest-leveling three different 6-man teams in eq2 wore me out. So I tried every other major pay-to-play mmo out there. Time and again, I was annoyed... None of them match up with the 'freedom' we get with the EQ2 and it's client. So, now i guess i'm moving back to EQ2.

I used to run a Guardian/Coercer/Templar/Defiler/Dirge/Warlock (full T1, mixed T2 Shard Armor, all have epics) - since it is nearly the perfect MT Group. When we did T2 raids, I would swap out the Warlock for my Warden. The way each character enhances the others leads to a team that simply cannot die as long as the guardian is attacking/taunting.

Now i'm thinking of a new team. Similar compliments, but heavier on DPS. I have soo many ideas, I'm almost exicted about trying them out.

It took me a long time to figure this out, but the fun of 6-boxing eq2 is finding the right group config that's FUN to play, not just the best. And if you are aspiring to be the MT Group of a Raiding Guild (or even the backup MT Group), be prepared for some of the hardest, most rewarding work in your life.

    g'luck

    Hey Asgradth

Very much in a similar boat having the 15 chars with many at 200aas, class weapons and all with full T2 - basically bored

I've found re leveling that I just can't do the quest grind anymore as I have honestly done many zones multi times - as an example, I've done TD nearly 10ish times x 6 (burned a lot of chars), commons/ant 4-5ish times each, etc etc etc - I won't even stop to look in places like TS or Nek now as I just 'hate' the place - been there, done that, got the tshirt and the stains to prove it

What I am doing at present is basically concentrating on the 1 team - the 'A' team and just pushing them as far as I can go - but even so - there's only so many times I can farm the same dungeons waiting for fables to drop - not really 'fun'

when you say 'heavier on dps' - what classes you thinking of combining? sk/lock maybe brig/fury/def/dir/coer???

...and as for the stress of MTing a major raiding guild - try it from a 'retired' MHs perspective...and ppl wonder why I only box now!

/waiting in hope for a new mmporg

    I quit

MMOs in general . The only video game I've played in the last couple weeks was Civilzation IV: Some expansion.

    I read a book: A Dirty Job

I studied Neural Networks, in depth: Cars Learning to Navigate a Track Sim - Not my work, an example.
and: Heaton Research - Neural Network Study Resource

And then I stared at this for a long time: TSX

I'm writing a program which uses a Neural Net to learn the patterns of related stock's movements to be able to predict the movement of a target stock. Don't laugh, its already been done, with better then 50-50 results.

    Hey Lokked

Burn outs always a biatch - good to see I'm not alone!

I'm writing a program which uses a Neural Net to learn the patterns of related stock's movements to be able to predict the movement of a target stock. Don't laugh, its already been done, with better then 50-50 results.
    - 'patterns of related stock movements' - isn't that just the correlation of the target stock in relation to a sample of stocks?
    - in the 'ideal world' - a stocks price is meant to reflect all known information - therefore, if the sample stocks have moved in price - the target stock also has already moved and therefore reflects its assessed price. As a result, there is nothing to predict - Unless you are with a massive hedge fund who can move the market...
    - related stock movements - each 'related' stock will have, for a better word, relatives which must also be assessed to determine which direction they will move before the movement of the target stock can be assessed. Therefore, you could end up with infinite possible stocks movements leading to a huge mess of numbers...
    - not to mention you'd have to look at the 'market' to assess all the betas and the impact of market movements...

    /arghhh

Goodluck Lokked - wish you well

I have Civ 4 but I have been playing Civ 3 and railroad tycoon 3 when I have some spare time. I also have Warcraft 3 battlechest that I haven't played through yet. I have some long bike rides scheduled later this summer that should be a blast. Meanwhile I'll play the old strategy games in the free time. 8)
