    Microsoft says: "
    • You don't need to rush to get the RC. The RC will be available at least through July 2009 and we're not limiting the number of product keys, so you have plenty of time.
    • Watch the calendar. The RC will expire on June 1, 2010. Starting on March 1, 2010, your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. Windows will notify you two weeks before the bi-hourly shutdowns start. To avoid interruption, you'll need to install a non-expired version of Windows before March 1, 2010.

so it will work until Feb 15 2010 then nagging will start

Yeah, I was going to post that I saw that on the MS website just as I saw you had posted it first, that's good news, hopefully there will be a legal stable copy by then to buy.

I wouldn't use anything less than a 750 power supply for that setup. Also I would avoid the asus p6t deluxe, I did alot of research before I built my i7 and the reviews on the p6t were pretty bad, check newegg, tigerdirect, hardware canucks, toms hardware, you'll see what I mean, it seems Asus' quality conrtol has gone out the window. Alot of these boards are DOA or have various other issues that cant be resolved with anything other than replacing it. Some people do seem to have no touble with the p6t, but for me I read too much bad stuff on it to think its worth trying.
You know, while doing research on motherboards as well I first wanted the EVGA x58 board, but decided against it when I heard about some issues.

    /licks his p6t Deluxe.
