    Default Gearing your team

Ok, so after Multiboxing for 3 days, I'm level 31, have all the mounts and now it's gear thats the issue. How do some of the more experianced Multiboxers get their gear the same, and decent for their levels?

Also, just a side question, Where should I be leveling for 31 with my team?

if you don't have a booster, then quests are the way to go.

Most of us don't worry about gear that much. Maybe a good weapon for your "tank" or lead toon. A lot stories of getting to 60 with level 20 gear still. When you hit Outlands, everything starts over and gear gets easy.

This. I've gotten around 30 toons to at least 60 and on almost every last one of them I have like level 10 crap in at least one slot. Once you get to outlands, it's just so much more enjoyable and easy to gear your toons and the quest rewards aren't completely freaking retarded like they were in Azeroth.

Yup. Quest gear, even in Outland. Hellfire will gear you up fairly well. Although I did a few normal instances in Outland, most of my gear was quest gear until I was ready to do heroics at L80. I purchased a bunch of epics from the AH at that point and started Heroics in Northrend.

I'm with the other guys here - don't waste time gearing your charactes until you reach, at least start closing in on, your end-goal level (which is probably 80 unless you're creating a twink group!).

My teams all run around in whatever quest rewards / drops they get in the course of levelling and I only start actively gearing them up with instance drops from about level 76 onwards, when the drops may still be useful for a fresh 80 AND I'm getting decent XP from the instance runs.

my teams are currently at 73 and I have taken the following stance with them:

1-60 whatever quest gear you get - sell all drops that are not soulbound to AH/Vendors
60-70 Starting quest gear in HFP then upgrade for better quest stuff - drop rule still applies
70- starting quest gear in BT and quest upgrades. Items from profession levelling - still on drop rule

between all my 15 characters I have all professions covered - I also have tailoring, mining, herbing and Skinning on characters in each group (to allow me to strip the zone of all resources while leveling - put it this way i have done 2 zones in NR with my three groups and each Skinner is maxed at 450)

each of my characters has between 1800-2000 gold on each, so I'm pretty much on track for Epic flight at 77 (they all already have standard flight)

My teams were all in quest gear until 80. Any BOE I got I sold or disenchanted. At 80 I started farming specific items out of non-heroics to start gearing up, picked up a few things in the AH for my healer and tank, and started farming heroics for gear. At 80 you can get several epics pretty quickly by losing 10 arena games a week, and doing wintergrasp. Titan-forged gear from WG is really good for how easy it is to get.

So far, I've been instance running from 1-60 because I plan to take a break at 60 because I don't want to spend more money on BC. I tried questing in Shimmering Flats, and I couldn't stand it. I finally finished a quest on one, and then I realized I had 4 more left to do. So I abandoned that one, along with all the others almost and stuck to the killing quests.

Will this get better in hellfire?

It will get better in Hellfire. You should get TourGuide (addon) and TomTom (another addon) and download some of the 1-80 tours on this site.
